Jack vs Technology
[To Jack, all the weird and interesting things being thrown at him in the past few days had been eye-opening. Not in the sense of 'how could I live my life without this?' but in the sense of 'are there any angry ghosts attached to this that will kill me?' So the communicator was given the same strange look that he gave everything else he was asked to handle. He then promptly tested it out, got dizzy by the writing part, muttered about daft buggers and promptly forgot he had it.
He dug it out a little later on in order to use the picture capture function to take pictures at the music festival thing. So a day later - once he found out how to do it - he loaded the pictures to the Network. These included pictures of Jack's teeth, a couple thumbs, the face of a compass with a wildly spinning needle, an upside down bottle of rum, some various shoes, and then some various stills of the artists as they preformed on stage.
Oh yes, and a picture of a plate of fried food.
With the pictures are these words:]

Ahh, see Imma sure about who or what we're looking for so I figured to let people know as such what to look in terms of people. All to better know how far these there slavers are willing to go, see?

Really? Then you're not the first or the last to have that excuse as such. Me too is only in this venture because of a simple error in reading my intentions, but given that we're here, isn't it proper to at least show willingness to try? Making allies in the face of all this strangeness is something that may make it easier for you to do what you are here for, savy?

Aye, it is. Ah, it seems that I'm suppose to be going by the name of Constantine Tarr but it doesn't sound proper. Course that's because there's no 'Captain' there which is a shame and fraudulent even. After all, I am a 'Captain' and should be called as such.

I confess that I'm finding some of the machinery a wee bit daunting. Just this morning an attempt towards walking up stairs had me almost caught in the moving surface of one such stairway and brought things to a rather messy halt. I'm glad that all I lost was me spare sash and not one from home, but still, methinks that there is never a like matter back home in which one is attacked by the vary floor that one is suppose to use unless there are all due warnings and treasure near by.
