I'll tell you all how the story ends
Who: Ghost Quest kids and all those who want to see them.
What: So as it turns out, going against the label might've been a bad move. Who knew, right?
When: Feb 3rd and after
Where: Pride HQ
Warnings: Talk of torture, aftermath of violence, aftermath of brainwashing, dudes there's some dark stuff.
For the past three days, the troublemakers and ghost helpers of Pride Records were kept locked away from their friends and their bands.
As far as everyone else knew, they were just gone. And then they were back.
They are all worse for wear, some far more than others and some much more mentally than physically, but they are all returned to their penthouses, finally, at the end of their ordeals.
But, at least they're back. Somewhat in one piece. For the most part.

HQ
When Garnet comes upon Yuffie, she's wandering on her band's floor. Instantly, she walks over, to get the girl's attention. She doesn't look badly off, but...she knows better, by now.
Not all the hurts are physical.]
Hey.
no subject
Hey there, Doctor G.
[She's a little unsure what to say. On one hand she feels like she should be apologizing, because she meant to get Terry out. She did. But on the other hand that feels like all she's done since she got back, so instead Yuffie just sort of starts to talk about twice, and then just never manages to say anything at all.]
no subject
...Hey, come over here. Let's get something to drink. You could use it.
no subject
Okay. That'd- Yeah.
I really could.
[Yuffie's clearly willing to follow wherever Garnet's leading.]
no subject
Whatever you want. I won't judge.
no subject
[Yuffie seems to think about it, and then pauses.]
Ya know? Tea would actually be really great.
[When she's hurt, tea sounds better than anything. And the more she thinks about it, the less she wants to drink.]
....Sorry we all kinda disappeared on you guys.
no subject
[She starts to make the tea.]
...It's not anyone's fault.
no subject
[She says it as if she didn't even have to think about it. Like it's the thing that's supposed to come out next.
Yuffie stops. And she closes her eyes, before trying again, sounding harsher and a little like she's having to work to spit out the words.]
It's .....It's not anyones fault, but hers.
no subject
[That's some intense steeping of the tea the--you know what, she doesn't care. She's upset also.]
She did this to you. Whatever you did, it had to be the right thing.
no subject
I- [It's hard to admit, because now it's had time to set in. She's had time to calm, and it's like the words are on the edge of her tongue and she can't get to them.]
I think we did something important.
Important stuff always has a big cost. I know that.
[The girl is smiling at him even as- even as- And then it's over. It's all over.
She spoke about what would happen after more than anyone. And then she was gone. ]
no subject
[Here's your rebellious tea, Yuffie. Its pretty hot, almost steaming, as if burning with rage. Namely because Garnet put it on a bit long, but its the sentiment that counts.]
Maybe things will finally change.
no subject
shut up sit down and drink her goddamn teatake her rebellion tea. She leans on the counter.]I think they're going to.
[She pauses.]
We've got more friends than we ever knew.
[They helped Baryl and Octave. And they'll help them right back. She's sure.]
no subject
[...]
All of us.
no subject
[ She echoes it with a certainty, whatever part of her they tried to bury, it's fighting back and it may be tired but it is winning.]
What's going on here, it's all messed up. And it's wrong. [Yuffie pauses, and a smile sort of grows across her face that's sharp and a little vicious.]
And we've got them scared now. Cause we pushed back.
no subject
[She can't help but trail off, looking down as she thinks of everyone's injuries, inner and outer. And Steven.
She looks down, her eyes misty.]
...I'm sorry, I know. We struck a blow. I know I should be happier.
no subject
I dunno that I'm happy about it. Just cause you know important stuff costs a lot doesn't mean you can't be upset, right?
[Now, with that, she shrugs.]
Cause a lot of stuff isn't okay. [She takes a drink and then taps her nails on the cup.] I think I just gotta believe it was worth it. So I don't go crazy, ya know?
no subject
Why? What's the point of keeping us like this, hurting us? Why not just let us figure things out? We love making music, but we have things we need to figure out about ourselves. Why is that such a terrible thing?
no subject
[Yuffie shrugs, taking a drink of her tea.]
Who the heck knows.
[She's snarls into her cup, and takes a deep breath before she talks again.]
But they're hiding stuff about us that's important. People we love, things we love.
They're the literal worst.
no subject
[She looks at Yuffie, rubbing her forehead. There's an obvious bump there, under her hair.]
These visions...they have to be what we think they are. We're not going crazy, right? They have to be ours.
no subject
I know they're what-
[She pauses, and her mouth opens once or twice before she talks. She's not scared Garnet will say anything. She's not. But she's paranoid, even in the CI penthouse, which is one of the places she feels safest. Doctor G, and Terry, and Koumei would never let anything happen. But she's still paranoid.]
The person we helped. He said that the boss did this. Stole us. Wiped us. They took everything. Those things we see? The dreams?
[She's quieter, as if she's terrified to say it, but wants to make sure everyone she can tell knows.]
They're the parts of us they took.
no subject
[If her grip on her cup were much stronger, the glass would be cracking.]
And the others? Richard...everyone who was fired...
no subject
....When I was gone, they told me they fired Fetch.
[ Yuffie's goes as if to continue talking and then stops, fighting an ingrained response. ]
I can't find anything.. I can't find anything anywhere about what happened to her. Or to Alec, or Wakana.
[ She pauses again. ]
It's like they're just...gone.
no subject
[Why?]
They...can't just be gone. There has to be a way to talk to them...!
no subject
....They're willing to do a lot of really bad stuff, you know?
I wouldn't put anything past...past her.
[Yuffie's face probably gives away exactly what she thinks happened to the lost members of their bands. It's already been shown that it's easy to breeze over the death of musicians in the city. So what's to say she wouldn't just...?]
no subject
[Garnet could just be in denial, but how could she not be? How could she not cling to this hope?]
