I'll tell you all how the story ends
Who: Ghost Quest kids and all those who want to see them.
What: So as it turns out, going against the label might've been a bad move. Who knew, right?
When: Feb 3rd and after
Where: Pride HQ
Warnings: Talk of torture, aftermath of violence, aftermath of brainwashing, dudes there's some dark stuff.
For the past three days, the troublemakers and ghost helpers of Pride Records were kept locked away from their friends and their bands.
As far as everyone else knew, they were just gone. And then they were back.
They are all worse for wear, some far more than others and some much more mentally than physically, but they are all returned to their penthouses, finally, at the end of their ordeals.
But, at least they're back. Somewhat in one piece. For the most part.

I...Uh.
[She pauses again. And then seems to have to think particularly hard on her answer.]
I got on the boss's bad side.
[It's clear that isn't all. But she isn't sure what she can say that wont get either of them in trouble and it's a little too out in the open for her to want to spill right now. It's clear from the expression on her face that she's less than okay with whatever the situation was.]

[Jamie looked upset before, but now he's utterly horrified. Santiago did this? Santiago had her this whole time? It's a miracle Yuffie's still alive, frankly, given what Lesedi is apparently capable of, but - shit.
[He makes some aimless, twitchy gestures with his hands before he finally rakes them through his hair, distressed and unsure of himself.] What - I mean - fuck. You wanna - you wanna come by the penthouse? For a - a drink, or to talk, or something?
[This would sound like a come-on if Yuffie weren't firmly in the "surrogate older sister" category. It's the only thing Jamie can think of to do - offer her booze, a safe place to hang out, and someone to vent to, if she needs it.]

Yuffie pauses, and then after a moment nods, laughing a little helplessly. ]
Yeah. That sounds good.
[She jams her hands in her pockets, and tips her head in the direction of the Flashstep penthouse.]
I think I could totally go for that drink.
[Also she very much wants to warn Jamie of how bad it's gotten but doesn't want to say a damn thing over text or anywhere someone can overhear.]

I dunno if Maxxie or anyone else is here, you might be stuck with just me. [Sheepish grin as he heads to the minibar.] What do you want to drink? We've got beer, vodka, um...I could make us screwdrivers. Or there's Jaeg.
[He is offering to share his Jaegermeister with you, Yuffie. Shit is real now.]
no subject
[She's clearly teasing, and hops up on the counter because that's Yuffie's general position whenever available.]
Screwdriver works for me, if that's okay.
[She's kicking her feet from her place on the counter and she starts kind of quietly.]
You know how weird things have been, lately?
no subject
Lately as in the past couple of days, or lately like...since we all signed on with Pride?
[Because things have been pretty goddamn weird pretty much from day one, Yuffie.]
no subject
[She takes the drink and starts drinking much more of it than she really should as a starter.]
Did you run into that at all?
no subject
...I think so. I don't -
[He chews his lip, still worried even after all this time that what he's going to say will sound crazy.]
I don't think the last hallucination was like the other ones.
no subject
[Yuffie takes another drink, and then sits the glass down beside her.]
It's...It's different.
[She's not quite sure how to explain this.]
Those ones, I think they came from us. These were something else.
Some one.
[Baryl is not a thing. He's as much a person as she is. Just kind of...dead.]
no subject
That's what I thought. It - it was me talking in this one, but it...wasn't. It wasn't my voice. And - Anansi was there. Y'know, from Virgo? Have you ever seen people you know from here when you have those hallucinations?
no subject
....No. I haven't.
[Yuffie realizes that she's staring at him oddly and her hands suddenly flail about as she catches up to herself.]
I mean not that it's totally not possible or something! I believe you!
no subject
Well, yeah, but - that's why I thought, y'know, there might've been something...different, about that one. It just...it felt different, y'know? And I mean...it coming from someone else makes as much sense as anything else, honestly.
[He takes another pensive sip of his drink, then looks back up at Yuffie.] So...you didn't have any hallucinations like that? What did you see?
no subject
...So there was this guy.
[Oh. Yeah. Great place to start.]
He needed my help?
And he kind of....
[There is some vague gesturing as she figures out how to say it, and her voice slides higher as she finishes the sentence like she's perfectly aware how insane this sounds.]
....aaaaand he kind of sort of maybe possessed me so we could talk?
no subject
[Jamie purses his lips, starts to say something and takes another sip of his drink first.]
...so what'd you talk about?
