I'll tell you all how the story ends

What: So as it turns out, going against the label might've been a bad move. Who knew, right? 
When: Feb 3rd and after 
Where: Pride HQ
Warnings: Talk of torture, aftermath of violence, aftermath of brainwashing, dudes there's some dark stuff.

For the past three days, the troublemakers and ghost helpers of Pride Records were kept locked away from their friends and their bands. 

As far as everyone else knew, they were just gone. And then they were back. 

They are all worse for wear, some far more than others and some much more mentally than physically, but they are all returned to their penthouses, finally, at the end of their ordeals. 

But, at least they're back. Somewhat in one piece. For the most part.

[She does, reluctantly. What has she done? What did they do?]

[He scrambles away from her, crawling a short distance across the floor before stopping again and wrapping his arms around himself. He doesn't cry. It's weird how he doesn't, he's always been so easy with his emotions before.

Instead he just looks sort of haunted, like he's trying to pretend that whatever is going on with Garnet here isn't actually happening. Like if he ignores it long enough it will go away.]

[She excuses herself for a moment. She calls Greg, speaking in a low, rushed voice. She needs to do something. She needs to get Steven out of this place.

She can't let them hurt him anymore.

After she finishes, she turns back to the boy, trying to reach out towards him.]

Steven. I...we need to go. I'm going to help you. Please.

Please.

[tigermillionaire]

[He cowers, curling in against himself, making sure he keep turned away from her. He isn't cooperating, something inside of him screams. Look! He isn't cooperating with her. They can't blame him. They can't.

He's behaving. They have to believe him.]

No.

[He grabs at his hair, more cracks of light shattering across the skin of his back and up his neck.]

Your father...he wants to make sure you're all right...!

[Getting worse. Its getting worse, isn't it--]

He can't...

[The breaks seem to appear more with stress than with time, like the weakness it brings makes it harder for him to hold himself together.]

I'm just...going to stop.

[He lays down on the floor, curling around his gem protectively. He's not going anywhere. He can't, and he won't.]

[Oh god. This. Garnet brings her hands to her head, shaking the whole time. She's...she's...

He's giving up, isn't he.

He's giving up. This wonderful boy, who brought so much hope to her, and the Crystal Gems, who believed in everyone...

She doesn't know what to do.

She doesn't know how to save him, like this.

I failed.

Rose...I'm so sorry.

I'm...we're the worst. We couldn't save him.

This is my fault.











But she has to try. She has to try and help him.

Forcing herself to the phone, she write to Greg. When he responds, she doesn't know. Where was truly safe in Pride? And how can she get Steven there?

Breathing fast, trying to force the horrible feeling forming in the pit of her stomach to stay where it is, and rubbing her left eye of tears, she looks back up at Steven.]

A-at least...Tiger...let me get you to your room.

You need to...r-rest...

[Please say yes. Please say yes..]

[Going back to his room is probably for the best anyway, especially if he's not going to go any further. There's no reason for him to be out here, now. He pushes himself up, slowly and frailly.]

Okay...

[He trusts her to not take him somewhere else. Not when he said no.]

All right. To your room, then.

[She'd make sure to get what Greg asked for, but right now, Steven getting where he needs to go is the priority.]
