You laugh until you cry; you cry until you laugh
Who: Virgo musicians - Ghost Quest people and their friends
What: When eight musicians go missing, what happens to those left behind? What happens when those eight come back far worse for the wear?
When: Feb 1st-3rd and after
Where: Virgo HQ
Warnings: Talk of torture, violence, brainwashing, etc. It's ugly in here, folks.
The past three days have not been kind. The hauntings were odd, yes, but when your friends went missing without warning or a trace - well.
How have you been coping? Have you been coping?
And then they came back just as suddenly, and...it looks like your worries were not unfounded.
This isn't good, is it.

The last few days were hell. He doesn't want to do anything, or talk to anybody. Marty doesn't even want to play guitar...which he can't really do anyway. Getting your wrist snapped in the worst way possible makes it kind of hard to practice, which is absolutely awful. The fact that it's not casted either doesn't really help.
His brain is buzzing, full of the images of what had happened in the pods. It's almost impossible for him to go to sleep at night, not without sweating himself awake or having some kind of ungodly nightmare that he hasn't had since he was small. Sometimes they're vivid enough to make him sick.
Instead of sleeping like a normal person should, he'll be walking around, ultimately bumping his shoulder into Sans while he's too busy not looking up. ] H-huh?
Sorry, sorry. Didn't mean to.

He looks worse off than Haru in a physical sense. But hell, what does that really mean?
He raises a gloved hand, immediately brushing off the apologies.]
It's fine, kid. You don't need to apologize.
[He looks him over, his glance quick and thorough. Yeesh.]
So...you made it back, huh?

Guess so. [ He tucks his good hand into his pants pocket, shrugging lightly. ] I mean, we all did, right? [ More or less, but he won't say that. ]
[ Change of subject, though. Or at least, he'll try to attempt one. ] Have I met you yet? Name's Marty. McFly.

I'm Sans. Esqueleto. I'm a pal of Greg's, since a long time ago. I'd offer you a handshake, but I think we're both down an arm.

That joke actually makes him laugh. That's the first time he had since, well, before the ghost thing happened. ] That's pretty good! If I had a hand I'd shake, though.

I guess somebody had a weird sense of humour.
[He winks.]
Might've been me for that last name. Always been a fan of those spooky scary skelepuns.

Skelepuns? [ This guy is way too much. But Marty absolutely loves this. It's good to have a laugh over something that's actually laugh-worthy, rather than being stuck thinking about the past. Especially when the stuff Sans is talking about is actually laugh-worthy.
He's gonna try this. ]
Did you hit your funny bone or somethin'?
no subject
Yep. And it cracked me right up.

You might wanna hit up a doc for that. Cast it up, y'know?
