Shall I join you on your journey?/Will you play the music to my songs?
Who: Sariel and YOU!
What: A fallen angel might feel a bit homesick for the North East
When: After the ghost incidents
Where: Pride HQ, out on the streets of Vista City
Warnings: None to speak of unless German Romantic art songs irk you.
Part One - How well you greeted me then/Your shining happy streets
Out on the streets -Open To All
A month has passed since Sariel's arrival from the north east, and while he might have grown accustomed to the hustle and bustle of Vista City, he has yet to acclimate to the climate, so different from his home town. About now, snow would have covered the ground and a chill would fill the air, but instead, the days tend toward rain and fog when they do come near to the climate he knows well.
Still, on the days not occupied by recording sessions and rehearsals or autographing promotional materials, he'll head out for a constitutional, walking through the streets that surround Pride HQ. He'll pop into shops, or study the contents of the store windows, at other times, he'll pause to linger in a park and people watch, or linger in a cafe, nursing a cup of tea, usually green.
Part Two - Shall I join you on your journey?/Will you play the music to my songs?
At home in the Court of Thorns penthouse - Closed to CoT folks
Back home, perhaps later that evening, he'll retire to his room for a long moment before emerging carrying a folio scorethat he's selected from his collection. Setting it up on the piano in the common area, he'll sit down to it, leafing through the pages, humming softly to himself before putting his hands to the keys and beginning to play, then to sing, in a soft, melancholy voice
The songs that he plays all have a distinctly dark, chilly air to them, strongly suggestive of a north eastern winter, all ice and cold and dim, like a cold wintry day. Even the songs that have more warmth to them still have an undercurrent of a shadow and a hint of melancholy, as if the speaker in the lyrics has gone in search of something lost...

Part One
Sometimes the cafe gets a little crowded though, and it is so at the moment. Sariel's table is free besides Sariel though, at the moment, which can't be said for the other tables. So with his tea and a plate of dango, he heads over with a polite smile. "Pardon my intrusion, but would it be alright if I shared table with you for a little while?"
Re: Part One
Turning back to Fon, the pale gent speaks, with a friendly if slightly crooked smile, "Quite all right: the place is a bit short on free space today." And he'll tilt one long-fingered, graceful hand toward the free chair.
One
"Hey, didn't see ya there."

He pauses, then adds, with a bow of his head, "Here I've been chattering away and I haven't introduced myself. I'm Sariel MacLeod."

"Names Ruby Gordon."

"A pleasure to meet you, Ms. Gordon: I'd offer to buy you a drink for your time and troubles, but I suppose that's a bit of a strange offer, from someone you've only just bumped into, quite literally."
