What: Squalo decided not to let his bandmates one-up him and went to have his own "seasonal" performance. For fun. Or so they say. He's got Empathic Influence now, so... have fun getting just a little bit too into those songs and enjoy all those new, excellent and healthy emotions that you're suddenly feeling!

[ Whoops. Time to prepare for another mass hysteria. At... least Genos won't inspire them to kill anyone? Hopefully. Focus on the positive! ]

[ Alright, that's a familiar reaction. He gives him a long look as he holds the CD back once his name's on it. ]

[ THE IRONY, considering what's starting to go on in his own life. (Thanks to your performance, probably. Now he remembers being drawn to someone but no reasons or details, so of course he interprets it as attraction.) ]

[That person he puts on a pedestal- well, after running into him again, that particular brainwashing didn't stick. It was just so at odds with who Saitama is it was hard to accept- besides, his feelings never went away.]

[Genos is considerably happier now that he's been soothed by Saitama/Makoto talking him out of the brainwashing.

[ Alright fuck and dear God how does he even bring this up. This is so awkward, especially considering his petty revenge and the fact he involved Genos in it. Is there any way not to make it -- ah, to hell with it. ]

[ Past tense. PAST TENSE. He refuses to be roped into that cycle of beatings again, the wishes of his loins be damned. He even tries to keep his voice low, though it's about as successful as always. ]

[ THAT IS AN EXCELLENT FUCKING QUESTION. He makes a suffering sound and runs a hand through his hair in frustration. ]

I don't know! [ He's of the same opinion right now. And yet that doesn't help with that annoying feeling that's not listening to reason. ] It doesn't make any sense.

[He stares directly at Squalo, keeping careful track of his heart rate. Squalo does indeed seem frustrated.]
