Who: Squalo and -- you?
What: Squalo decided not to let his bandmates one-up him and went to have his own "seasonal" performance. For fun. Or so they say. He's got Empathic Influence now, so... have fun getting just a little bit too into those songs and enjoy all those new, excellent and healthy emotions that you're suddenly feeling!

Where: "The Variable", alternative music club in Vista City

[ God bless Mammon. Sledgehammer is a perfectly viable strategy if all else fails. ]

[ And again he looks like he was fucking struck by lightning. The scene was one of the first things he's remembered - but he never put a name to it and did his best to bury it. But that particular combination of words seem to bring it out again. That image of himself, bleeding and barely but standing over a man's corpse, laughing, because the so-called Sword Emperor Tyr wasn't a match for him in the end. ]

[Frankly, they'd have been surprised if that hadn't gotten through to Squalo.]

[Superbia Squalo, a name that fits him to a T in the end. From what Mammon knows, he'd been way too eager to cut off that hand of his. Asinine, in their opinion, and yet maybe for the better. A trick hand is always a nice thing to have up your sleeve.]

[Their eyes- and that of the illusion's- flicker down to where Squalo's own are focused, and Mammon speaks up again.]

Still in good shape?

[ The voice snaps him out of the momentary trance. He quickly tucks his arm behind himself as if trying to hide it and glares at the smiling idiot he thinks he's seeing. ...yep, he already has the prosthetic back, and seems to feel the need to keep it a secret. ]

Of course it is. What's it to you?

[Would the original Yamamoto lose his smile here? No? Then it's staying on the illusion's face at that glare.]

Well, you said I beat you, right?

[ flips him off with his good hand. ]

I'm beginning to think I dreamed that.

[He's not throwing anything at them or attacking again. Mammon's not bothered.]

Ha, is that how you excuse all your losses?

[Mammon knows that Squalo actually uses the "it was a FLUKE" defense, but, y'know.]

[Ow, fuck, goddammit Squalo why couldn't Pride fuck up your vocal chords as much as they've fucked up your combat skills? The grimace on the illusionay Yamamoto mimics the one on Mammon's true face, and he digs out his ear.]

[ Probably because they're making money from it. Those high-pitched screams in MANTICORE's material? All his. Why they didn't at least mute it a little is anyone's guess though. Maybe it's immune to magic. ]

[ He glares at the guy for a few moments longer, then finally lets go. ]

["Yamamoto" straightens up and laughs.]

[ Squalo still glares at "him" a bit and holds out a hand. Hope you had more than one slip of paper with an email because he destroyed the previous one whoops. ]

[No, but they do have a notebook, a real one that their illusion scrawls out the email on again. Handing it over, he gives a wink and a wave.]
