A | Local Bar

The neverending cycle of despair that was Celty’s life really seemed to be amping up in speed. What a fucking idiot she was. She told herself she wasn’t gonna get attached to people, keep things strictly business to move her way through the ranks and enjoy the splendors of fame and financial stability. And now here she was worrying about her band mates and friends and everyone else caught in this mess.

Today’s worrying of course leads to the bar. Not a place she would want someone as young as Kido being, even if she’s technically drinking legal. But she has to make sure she’s doing okay. Safe and as relatively sane. As sane as they can be in this mess.

B | Virgo HQ

There are no fucks to be given as Celty stumbles into the Virgo building. Some sense of sobriety keeps her from making an ass of herself in public. But once she’s back in Virgo all she can think about is that Blanche can eat a dick.

Which brings her to the exasperated security guard who can’t let her in until she gives him her pass.

“Liiisten, fuckface… You- you listen. You tell Blank. That he’s a loser, okay?”

“Yes ma’am.”

“He doesn’t know shit, okay? Shiiiiiiiiiiiiit. And there’s alllll kinds of dicks that he can choke on.”

“Yes ma’am. Could you jus-”

“Diiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiicks.”

With that delightful display finished, she finally manages to collapse onto the couch, thinking about ways she could trash talk Nyla’s cats. Those cats are garbage. Who gives a shit about those fuckers? Probably a bunch of mutated singing cats. Maybe even aliens.

Shit she hopes they aren’t aliens. She couldn’t deal with that shit.

She smiles beneath her helmet before a low chuckle escapes her lips.

"Not sure."

"Ugh." She folds her arms on the table and drops her head into them. That's a bad answer.

"Maybe we're close. To better."

"Not close enough."

"Can say that. Again."

"I'm going to drink until I'm too stupid to care."

"I can drink to that."

She clinks the glasses together.

"Haven't had this much 'cohol. Since Sarah." It slips out and she doesn't even realize it.

"Who's Sarah?" Sorry Kido is ignorant, Celty.

Revelations be happening now Kido.

"Siisstra." Especially since Celty's getting pretty drunk now.

"Didn't you know you had a sister..."

[losingherhead]

"Don't talk."

She snorts involuntarily and giggles stupidly to herself. "L-literally. I mean."

"Bad terms with her?"

"Before crash, yeah."

"What crash?"

She gives another bitter chuckle before drinking the rest of the bottle.

"One that... scars and stuff." Kind of idly waving her hand dismissively, like this was already common knowledge.

"It must've been bad." She looks at her glass. "I didn't want to ask. And last time I saw, I was dying, anyway..."

"S'fine." As fine as glass smashing into your throat could be.

"Got off easy."

"I wouldn't call that easy."

"Everything's relative."
