There's a few songs in tonight's line up at Medusa from an unlikely lineup of four. With their bands being across the board at both Virgo and Pride, it's sure to be an interesting show at the very least.

[Well, on the bright side, Genos doesn't have to do eight billion checks, today. Kido's already been here doing them all day.

She's almost sure everything is right, though, so before the performance, backstage, she's got her headphones on and is going over her lyrics a couple more times. Trying to make sure they're not incriminating, trying to keep herself and the three people she cares most about who are taking the stage with her safe.

It might be the first time she's actively ignored her friends. She's got a lot on her mind.]

Celty

[Ah yes, back to civilization after making a drunk mess of yourself in public. What method will she choose? Is it act like nothing happened? Is it hide in the corner? Or is it be really jumpy?

A bit of all three apparently. She's chosen to tune her guitar in the corner, leg tapping nervously. Everything's fiiiiine.]

[It's only minutes to the show when Kido checks on her.]

You doing all right?

[She's startled out of her focus on the guitar and starts fumbling for her phone.]

Yeah, I'm perfectly fine.

[It doesn't occur to her that typing so fast with her gloves off has led to a small, but clear smoke mist coming from her fingertips.]

[Huh. So the smoking is legit.]

You don't seem it. [You're fidgety... She kinda feels bad for getting Celty drunk tbch.]

Just pre-show nerves, you knwo?

[Oh god there was a typo she messed it up she's not hiding it well at all.]

[blindfoldcode]

[... huh.]

Celty. Deep breaths. What's wrong?

[She tenses up... and then kind of lets the stress fall out. Getting loose and shit. After a pause, she finally types a bit.

Performance - Daze

[With Momo taking claim to Moon Viewing Recital, Kido obviously being behind Houdini and Genos masterminding Seven Nation Army, it's been a weird blend of styles and motives through the night.

But there's one more song.]

[Genos' lyrics are already putting at hearts and emotions, bringing the feeling of being lost and unsure. Stuck in a rut, but needing to move forward.]

[Almost choking loss weaves its way through her voice and the low hum of her bass. Her sister, Ayano, Kano, Ayaka, her sense of understanding and safety. She glances over at the pair of blonde children shes collected, trying to settle herself.

Her next lines are easier, tentatively trying to push away that despair. She probably doesn't want the audience to wind up depressed...]

[Just like her solo song... Momo really wants to help. Kido, all the people Kido cares about, all the people she cares about... Even if she hasn't been good at it so far, even if she hasn't held a lot of attention... that's good, right? That'll help, in the long run.]

[She'll keep living because they're there, because Momo and Celty and Genos have watched out for her, have cared about her, have tried to keep her spirits up at the worst times for all of them. She's not alone, anymore. She's hasn't really been alone in a long time.

She can keep herself together, she can push the awful things aside, for them.]

Post-Performance

[Ryouta's at the bar, he had mostly come to support his band mate Momo. And he once chatted with Genos once, so might as well say hi to him too. Same with Kido.

He applauds loudly at the end of each song, happy that Momo seems to be having fun.]

[After the show, Momo heads over to him.]

Ryouta! You came! What did you think?

You did great Momocchi!

[He lifted his hand for a fist bump]

I really liked that last song. Who wrote it?

[Kido grins at him when she's off stage.]

Came out for Momo?

You're welcome! I've been wanting to write some songs that would make more use of her, have her take lead instead of being back up to to Ankhcchi, but our manager is very much against it.
