ONE | CAFE | grab yourself a mug 'cuz I made a fresh pot

Eda starts up her day like a lot of people in Vista City, she goes to The Daily Grind and has her coffee and breakfast there along with reading tabloids. (Pricilla’s is pretty nice, but she prefers this cafe because it's close to work and for some reason their caffeine is more... zippy than theirs.) She's relaxed at the moment, dressed for the workplace and ready to talk to some musicians.

TWO | WORK | i'm a bad dream/i'm a rad scene/i'm a tad mean

Eda's workplace is the Primal Lion Hotel, as expected it's near Pride headquarters and sees a lot of traffic from musicians, producers, various sound tech, and AR's from Pride. Eda doesn't like to toot her own horn but she thinks she's pretty good at her job. She's friendly and personable, and just rough around the edges to appeal to the people that stay here.

"Hello, and Welcome to The Primal Lion Hotel. How may I help you?"

THREE | OUTSIDE A BEAUTY SALON | break neck, trainwreck, in my presence genuflect

Eda's been meaning to do this ever since certain tabloids came out about her. She's known as 'the blonde' to most people that watch Manticore and other Pride bands and usually it's never a good thing. (Those fans are fucking crazy. Also it's a favor to Riza.) So she goes to the salon and asks for a crazy ass dye job that nearly guaranteed to put a death knell to 'the blonde' title she has : bleached to it's limit and toned to look white, even silver in certain angles, and the roots are dyed blue to contrast. Why? Cause she can. Admittedly she was a little inspired by the various 'Squalo inspired' dyes some of the Manticore fans have that she's seen around town. But usually they just went full white or silver, Eda thinks the blue roots mark her as unique.

After this long process, Eda can be found walking the street right by the beauty salon. Gladly showing it off.

"It's to conceal my identity. ...And I got bored too."

"It will certainly be eye-catching, that's for certain. Which can be a way of concealing to, I won't lie."

Hiding in plain sight, et cetera.

"Inspired by something in particular for this shade?"

"Squalo's hair and my favorite shade of blue. Tips are overdone, so I elected to color the roots. Tabloids peg me as a blonde. But I'm no longer one now. If this doesn't work, I'm cutting it short."

Yer teammate's is hair amazing. Too brilliant and healthy-looking to be a dye job.

Of course it's Squalo. Mammon isn't even surprised.

"Be sure not to tell him that. His ego doesn't need to be stroked and made larger than it already is."

[nuns4money]

"Eh, he'll think it anyway." Eda shrugs.

[avidita]

They make an amused snort. "You've figured him out pretty well and rather quickly, to boot."

[nuns4money]

"Anyone with a grin like that is full of himself." Eda jests.

[avidita]

"Try the fact that Superbia is part of his name."

[nuns4money]

The latin word for pride? Geez, he was doomed to being that way when.

[avidita]

It's horrible, but you learn to do deal with it if you work with him. I tend to pity anyone who has to deal with him otherwise.

[Mostly because that means murder, but details.]

[nuns4money]

[A curious quirk of the eyebrow at that.]

What does he pay you for?

[avidita]

I run a small division of people in our group, and do whatever needs doing that relies on stealth or misdirection.

[Or horrible, horrible torture/interrogation when mundane means just won't do.]

[nuns4money]

I'm guessing your co-workers don't do too well with stealth.

[A loud, arrogant shark doing stealth. The irony is almost hilarious.]

[Yeah, the last time Squalo did stealth, screaming happening in a public area, it's ridiculous. Oh well.]

They can be professional if they want to... But it's not something they actually care to do, no. I get paid well, so I'm not complaining.

[Eda nods, she can respect that. And why not have some fun?]

Anyway, feel free to pick on him some more while he's still as he is. He's rusty now, to say the least, so you won't have too much of a problem.
