Johanna's been moody for the past couple months - fine, she admits it. That party back in December had been quite the damper, to say the least, and the way the band had fallen apart for a few weeks didn't help. Stella had told her not to be so worried, and Jo had scoffed - at the time.

But now the penthouse is starting to get loud again. It's starting to get fun again. With the band back to full strength, five members present and accounted for, their apartment actually feels lived in. And now that Johanna isn't locking herself away as much anymore, that means the place is back to being the home of the best pop punk band in town.

Of course, that means that the penthouse is kind of a mess, between the parties being had and the music being made. But hey - that's the price of genius. Or something like that.

[Parker spent much of late February and early March in a state of frenzied inspiration, pulling production on the solo bits she'd put together, and halfway through the first week it occurs to her that she is part of a team. The band deserves to benefit from some of this productivity.

And now that she's actually got the spider, well...

The arachnid scuttles under her sleeve as she knocks on her bandmate's door.] Johanna? You there?

Come in. [ She barks it out from her bed, where she's sprawled in close to nothing, scrolling through her twitter feed on her phone. This tendency to stay cooped up, inactive in her room is probably a sign of something bad, mentally, but Johanna has never been good at listening to warning signs. She looks up at Parker when she enters, raising her eyebrows. ] What do you want?

[Parker very carefully casts her gaze well above Johanna's body, because she is, in the end, a mortal like any other.]

I put together a mockup for a cover of FoB's Radioactive; I figured it'd be good to integrate that Shin guy into the band. Wanna go over it with me?

[ Johanna bites her lip, but it doesn't do much to keep her from smirking at Parker's careful aim of her gaze. ] Sure. [ She moves to sit up against the headboard, gesturing to the space next to her. ]

What do you think of all this reshuffling?

[That gets a snort.] I think we'd better hope that Roxas stays manageable and this Shinichi dude is a genius, because Cloud is a joke in terms of teamwork and our drummer's not about to write any chart toppers.

[ Johanna rolls her eyes expressively. ] I mean, do we really need more genius? As long as the others can stay in line, the songs we come up with are enough for us to not completely tank as a band. [ This is an indirect compliment, kind of. Be pleased, Parker. ]

[A flicker of surprise passes over her face before she rearranges it into a more neutral expression. Johanna, complimenting someone? Mind control must be involved.]

"Not completely tank" might not be enough to save our hides where upper management's involved. They're already pissed at me for the stunt I pulled last month.
