Fighting Evil by Moonlight
Who: Eternal Sailor Moon and whoever she comes to help
What: All the tabloid talks of attacks has made Sailor Moon decide to go on patrol at night
Where: All over the city and outside of Virgo HQ
When: Throughout the Week
Warnings: Minor violence
Option A: Rabid Fans Abound
It wasn't that she didn't understand that they needed to remain low key, but with the missing rescuers, all the tabloids of more and more violence, and the ocean attack on the label? Sailor Moon couldn't keep sitting on her hands. It went against everything she stood for. She had to protect everyone, even those of an alternate Earth.
So at night, with the moon as her guide, she kept watch on the streets. Her boots clicked along the gravel of a roof as she landed, her wings... she took a deep breath. It was good to have them back. She would be lying if she wasn't also doing this to keep her wings strong. She hadn't been able to fly in months and hadn't needed too for years back home.
She heard screams though and started running towards it, coming to a ledge and watching as a concert was being let out of a club. Oh, thank goodness. Just screams of joy.
Or well... it had started out that way. She watched as the fans broke the barriers and started going after the rock star. Her eyes narrowed. What was it with these fans!
She flew down and cut through the screams.
"LET THEM GO THIS INSTANT!" she ordered.
Option B: Breath of Fresh Air
She was flying again. She closed her eyes and while she didn't have any connection to the wind and sky like Uranus did, the moon was full overhead. She basked in the moonlight, feeling it wash over her. Not her moon, no, but so close to it. She closed her eyes as she spun in the air to soak it up.
It was warm and cool at the same time, welcoming soft light while all the other stars were blotted out by the light pollution.
She landed in a park and let out a breath, she glowed. She had soaked up the moonlight and the crescent moon on her brow glowed brightest. She tucked her wings in tight. Her head felt clear and she reached up to remove the transformation, only she stopped suddenly when she heard a twig snapped. She spun around.
"Show yourself!" she demanded.
Option C: The Tower Gates
She was looking at Virgo Tower and the calm ocean with her hands clenched at her side. In there was the one who took Rei from her, who took all those innocent people from their homes. She summoned the Tiare and lifted it... only for her shoulders to slump and her head to fall forward.
She couldn't... the were getting closer, and she couldn't attack because it would be the people she was trying to save who would face the consequences of her actions. She let her scepter fade from her hand and she just continued to look at the tower.
"Please just wait a little longer," she whispered.
Option D: Just an Average Girl
No longer Eternal Sailor Moon, just Usagi Tsukino a.k.a Serena Lapin now, she needed to head back home. She was just outside of the Virgo Tower and knew it was going to be a long way back. But she couldn't risk them following her as Sailor Moon when she flew. She'd have to walk.
"Not my smartest idea," she mumbled to herself as she started walking, her head bowed. So of course, she didn't notice when she ran smack into someone's chest.
She stumbled backwards and rubbed her nose.
"Oh, uh, I'm sorry, should look where I'm going," honestly she should.

And Sailor Venus is there, because she needs to be. Her hand reaches for her princess's, her eyes hidden by her hair. No, she can't let despair get the better of her. They need to stay strong against the darkness.
"You want to rip it all up too, huh?"
no subject
"I do... I know... I know I'm not as strong as I was, but I want to destroy them. But it's all just... just some game of patience. I can't even face the enemy... It's all avoiding capture and constant moving... But I'm not... I'm not good at that. I've never been."
no subject
She wraps her free arm around her waist.
"But we owe it to Rei to save them when the time's right. It's so dangerous, so much has happened already...it's enough to drive you crazy, isn't it?"

D!
No wait, that's probably a bad thing.
Well....
At least there's no piercings or zippers to get caught on?
After making sure the girl is okay, setting her solid, and gently holding the top of her arms to keep her steady, he pulls back completely and gives a deep sweeping bow, even doffing his orange cowboy hat, exposing the mustache'd skull and T-bones tattoo on his back.
"Nonsense, it's all my fault Miss. I'm very sorry. Are you all right? Unharmed?" A glance up at her to make sure she hadn't hit him running too hard.

Usagi's face went deep, deep red. She promptly bowed back, if only to hide her face from the embarrassment and nodded."
"I-I-I'm alright! I'm really sorry I ran into you, sir." She took a deep breath, trying to calm down. "You-you did nothing wrong, sir, I promise. I'm so sorry! You're not hurt, are you?"
no subject
"No no, I'm absolutely fine. I'm used to people running me down actually!" he gives her a gentle grin to show no harm done, and that it was a joke. Mostly. He has the vaguest inkling he's been thrown through walls by people he loved. Random.
"Are you sure you're okay? At least nothing's spilled right?"
Another bow with a small sly grin, trying to make sure she wasn't bruised or knocked back. Part of that being-thrown-through-walls not!memory is that he also swears he's used to his Gramps refusing to use doors, preferring just to break walls. Again, random, but since that's where Ace must have learned most of his fighting, he's pretty sure he's more solid than your average not-flung-through-walls person.
"I'm Ace. Portgas D. Ace. Are you in a rush? Can I see you home safely anywhere?" Another impetuous grin, "That way no one else gets run over, right?" Another joke... sort of.

Which is when he hears the cry from above, and he looks up, as if into the face of an angel, a true angel, not the persona he has played for so long, and his lips part in a silent prayer for help...

All the fans fell in a hush at the sight of her, feathers drifting around her but before they could touch the ground, they scattered into specks of light and disappeared. She held her ground, the Tiare in hand.
"STAND DOWN!" Her voice held command and the whole group was unable to really comprehend the sight in front of them. "You should all be ashamed of yourselves! Trying to hurt someone in such a way! Someone who only tried to share their art with you, to bring you joy and inspire you and you easily could have hurt him!"
She turned to look at him, but turned her body so she could keep a close watch on the fans.
"Are you safe?"
no subject
But that all vanishes back into his head, overwhelmed by the crowd falling back, the guards moving in, but holding back, startled by the avenging figure above. He looks up to her, jaw dropped, staring at her, his good eye glassy with fear yet clearing slowly.
"Shaken... badly shaken... I'll live, but... cuts deep as any wound," he manages, through his trembling breaths. He might still shiver from all this.

Neither of them was in a position to recognize the other. No musician and fan bonding over a churro -- now they were Eternal Guardian and Chooser of the Slain, one glaring at the tower, the other defending it.
Lenneth Valkyrie hovered above the ground, sword in her hand but not yet pointed. She would have an explanation, or a battle, but she had no intention of getting the latter without the former.
no subject
"I have no intention of harming the tower." Not until they could get everyone out safely, including the citizens within. Her focus was on the managers and the ones who kidnapped her Rei and the others.
"I assure you, we're on the same side."
no subject
She was, after all, a Valkyrie.

[The fans have only gotten worse since the album came out. At least they didn't bother her bandmates as much, but dear lord. Now along with the Squares, there was the Chromes - the girls and boys who dressed in the powder blue suits, big sunglasses, and two-colored contacts, regardless of the hair style.
She's in the middle of a set, for goodness sake.]
Come on, calm down!
[Nope, its not working. They are converging...and then they stop at the sound of the shouting. Huh?
One of them looks up, shouting.]
Hey! Who asked!?
no subject
"I didn't ask," she said calmly. "STAND DOWN NOW!" she ordered as she glowed even brighter. "How dare you attack someone you claim to love! That isn't love! And as the champion of love and justice I cannot abide by it!"
no subject
On the other hand, the response from the Chromes was....disbelieving laughter. She might not be hallucinating after all.
"Really? Who is this?" Laughing. Out. Loud. "Did no one tell you it isn't Halloween? Wow, you're a little crazy with your costume, aren't you?"

He doesn't really register Usagi's tune until she literally runs into him. He stumbles backwards a step or two and reaches out a hand to steady her. "Don't worry about it. You okay?"

But then again, so does the young woman with...]
...a humanoid shape and functional wings?
[That's what he's gaping at. Yup. And he says the last part aloud, eyes wide as saucers. It defies physical laws.]
no subject
Functional wings, yes. Though I cannot travel the distances I am used to.

A) And now she can save him!
Then the swarm starts spilling forward. He takes a few steps back, in disbelief that he's about to partake in the running of the fangirls (and boys). Just as the crowd begins to creep up on him that's when Eternal Sailor Moon makes her appearance. Roy's view is blocked by wings for a moment, he does a double take as it becomes clear a flying girl appeared from up above to fend off the fans.
That outfit is nothing like a regular body guard's.
"What?" This just keeps getting stranger.
no subject
"Are you hurt?" she asked, standing between the fans and Roy, her Tiare summoned in case she needed to create barrier to protect him.

"We'll have her back soon," she promises, speaking in a low murmur.

"I... She won't go without everyone, and you know, I'm fine with that... but then I got to thinking... where... where will we even keep them for them to stay safe? We can't expect them to fight against their captors, though I know we can ask. And what will she remember when we get home? I've never been so unsure in the face of an enemy before. It's like... it's like walking up a dark stairway, Neptune, and you slowly inch up each step because if you don't, your foot falls through the air and there's that panic because there's no next step there. And I keep feeling that panic the closer and closer we get."

Tonight unfortunately a couple of shippers had begun arguing while waiting for their favorite star to walk out of the club. By the time he had emerged from the doorway the shipping war had escalated and others from the group had joined in. It was a violent showdown between DoctorxLuce versus DoctorxCello with a few people claiming he was their husband sprinkled in here and there. Doctor's bodyguard and the club bouncers moved to calm down the crowd when fists started flying but they weren't enough. The crowd had been so riled up they started jumping over the barrier and screaming fans went diving at Doctor, successfully catching him by the legs.
"No! Wait. No, NO!" Doctor tries to shake them loose and make a run for it. He's nearly groped by one crazy fan and he slaps reaching arms and hands that would wrap around his torso away. "Not now! No! Nope! Please! DO YOU MIND?!"
no subject
The feathers that fell from her wings scattered in soft light before they could touch the ground. Many of the fans, and even the body guards and club bouncers, were holding their eyes, temporarily blinded. Sailor Moon turned to the Doctor, concern knitting her brow.
"They didn't hurt you, did they? The blindness will go away very soon, I promise."
