What: It's time for the Carnies to find another replacement. How can they top how they stole Poe?

A tweet goes out from Luci's account, it gets retweeted and passed around-- "Find a set of wheels and join the Carnival at the bus depot off 6th at 10PM. Time to ride. #newblood"

At the appointed time and place, there's a flatbed truck idling on the asphalt, outfitted with speakers and a bolted down drum set. A couple of tech people are doing final checks, testing some winches, et cetera. It could be an elaborate stage set up, but given the truck is running, it doesn't take long for fans to panic that they might not have enough gas to stay for the whole show...

"Tinted windows?" she asks. "I only work with tinted windows. Exclusively."

Shin laughs at that and adds, "Wouldn't be a proper one without. Puppies, candy, or candy?"

"Oh candy, obviously. I got some in my trailer, if I can tempt you," she says with a grin. She's got a concert to run, but she can still play around with the new kid in Parker and the Diva's band, can't she?

Shin laughs and a classically charming smile and 'teases', "My price is quite a bit higher than some candy."

"Ahh, a clever one." Luci takes it as a joke, of course, because Shin's a rockstar now. Obviously he wouldn't be propositioning her, not like this. Right? "How about a pony?"

No, he would.

He really would.

Old habits die hard?

"Maybe a mustang," he smirks, meaning the car.

"That's a lot of horse for a guy who's one-fifth spiked hair," Luci says with a laugh. "Don't think I have one of those in my back pocket, too bad."

"Shame," he admits with a smirk, "it could have been fun."

Luci tilts her head, curious, but still grinning. Maybe they aren't talking about the same thing-- it'd be the first time someone had run circles around her at her own game.

"...How old are you anyway?"

Shin smirks at that question. He looks younger, but acts and has the experience of someone older, so there was always a bit of humour to the question. "Sixteen."

He adds, "Why?" as if he didn't already have some decent guesses. Like her trying to figure out his meaning.

"Oooh... so close. Youngest man to say 'it could have been fun' to me was fifteen. But, here's a consolation prize for you," Luci grins and pulls out one of her earrings and offers it to him. "Tabloid fodder!"

"Aww," he says as he checks out the earring, wondering if he actually has a piercing he could put it in without messing up his look. "So close. I bet he thought he was real smooth, too."

Please, Luci's jewelry is always tasteful and generally unisex. In her opinion, Shin could put it anywhere and look incredibly fab.

"Most teenagers do," she says with a grin, ribbing him just a little.

"That's why I prefer older women, I think," he says. "You might be a bit too young for my taste anyway."

"Ow-ow-ouch," Luci laughs and pushes Shin's shoulder gently, teasingly. "First time I've been 'too' anything for someone."

Shin laughs, "Well, there always has to be a first time, right?" He smiles at her smoothly, "but I could possibly be swayed."

"Sure, but nobody says no to this," she says, gesturing to all of her. Luci, in her mind, is talented and hot. Who would say she's too young? Or worse, old.

"But I guess you're technically supposed to be one of my label rivals, so that's probably how this is supposed to go. Right? I'm too something for you and I should sway you...?"

Shin smiles, "That's what Lucifer does, right?" Well, if he wasn't flirting before, he is now.

"Tempt people into damnation?" She reaches to lightly brush a finger under Shin's chin. "Every second I can, darling."

Shin raises his chin just a bit with her fingers, letting an easy smile spread across his lips. "Damnation can't be so bad if you're going to lead me there," he gently teases as he shifts his stance to come off as more open and more interested. He falls into a seductive look that must make his fans cream themselves where they stand. It's almost like he's been trained.

And for a moment, Luci does look swayed, but then someone revs their motorcycle behind her and it brings her back to what she's doing there. Luci grins and pats his cheek.

"Bad news-- I'm afraid a lot of them say that, love. Time for me to go."

"Worst thing to do is keep a star from the limelight," Shin jokes. "You can lead me to hell some other time." He blows her a kiss before turning to leave.
