Bill hasn't fallen prey to such musical influence in a while, not since the night of the murders. While there is some initial resistance to the foreign feeling, it isn't long before the jazz musician finds himself tangled up in lyrical strings.

His expression morphs into something unreadable and he begins his ascent towards the stage. As unplanned as this venture is, he has no mic, but the audience may hear him lightly harmonize as she finishes the last lyrics of the song.

"Slip into silent slumber.
Sail on a silver mist.
Slowly but surely,
Your senses will cease to resist."

If there is one comfort to this feeling, its that he knows he still doesn't believe a word of it. TRUST NO ONE. Its hard to tell if its something that has been drilled into his head or if its an idea he himself perpetuated to feed to others. He'll mull it over later. The sax player continues to repeat the phrases but they are devoid of meaning, they come off as something more of a mantra, a reaffirmation to an order given.

"Trust in me,
Just in me.
Shut your eyes,
And trust in me.
You can sleep safe and sound,
Knowing I am around."

Bill flashes Aramat a smile as he smoothly joins her on stage, practically wandering in to those hands, should they still beckoning him forward to the rhythm of the song.

If there is one thing to snap Bill out of his daze, it is the roar of the crowd. Something just feels so inherently right about having people scream when they see him, of staring in awe and adoration. Not one to shirk at an opportunity to show off, Bill wastes no time in playing them up- never mind that he still isn't sure how he got on stage in the first place. Their excitement only seemed to grow the closer he got to the other artist, this might be fun to work with.

"Think I know juuuust the one."

He takes a moment to inform the rest of the ensemble of the choice before coming back to mutter it to Aramat.

"What do you say? Shall we give em something to talk about~?"

Nothing like a nice semi-scandalous display for a bit of PR.

"Don't you tell me to deny it,"

Although his saxophone is on his person, Bill comes in strong picking up the next line of the lyrics, effectively throwing a curve ball into the perspective of the narrative-- but isn't that just his way?

He circles the partnering accompaniment, stepping close but not too close unless Aramat initiates it; a little 'offer' of his own. This audience wants a show, and he is more than willing to fan a few flames to put on one.

"I done wrong, and I wanna suffer for my sins,"

He drops to his knees, one hand over his chest but if that mischievous smile is any indication, he doesn't look like a man ready to change his ways at all.

"I've come to you 'cause I need guidance to be true,
But I don't know just where I should begin,"

Bill tilts his head back in subtle defiance to that teasing show of mock disappointment, continuing his serenade,

"And I need to be 'redeemed' to the one I've sinned against"

Before swiftly rising out of the position, readying his sax for the upcoming horn line after the chorus ends in one smooth motion.

"Cause they're all I've ever known or loved~"

The question then becomes, who is the bigger manipulator in this group? The woman who enticed the man on stage, the man who is coercing the woman into being a part of his act, the audience who believe the empty words of the idols they know nothing about, or the musicians who can't resist the attention of so many eyes upon them.

"I know tomorrow brings the consequence at hand, but I keep living each day, like tomorrow's never gonna come!"

No one in this room is innocent, and it bleeds through in the words, sincerity wholeheartedly lost in the flavor of the song. The music builds up in anticipation for the next stanza.
