come and lay your bones on the alabaster stones

Who: Aramat and YOU! (Certain prompts are locked for certain people though.)
What: A month in the life of the pianist.
When: Throughout March
Where: Various Places Around Vista City and Pride HQ
Warnings: Possible sex, mentions of triggering things and whatever else. Will warn in advance. Prompts are in the comments.

Throughout March, Aramat is rather busy with various things, recording for Crown of Thorns, performing in clubs, searching for apartments to spend some quiet time in, and perhaps other errands. Of course there's always time for fun as well...

"I'd call you..." Aramat teases. "And I'm sure your cousin wouldn't get too jealous."

"I'd always answer your calls," she smiled. "And Di would probably love it since I could contact her if there's an issue. But, I don't have one, so I guess it's a bit silly to think about."

"Not too silly, maybe we can do some shopping. Get yourself some nice things... maybe you'll have to tell Miss Ophelia you'll be coming in late." Lunch and shopping? How generous. (And scandalous.)

Usagi blinked and then blinked again. Why was everyone always buying her things?

"AH wait! Y-You don't have to do that! I don't you to waste your money on me!"

"Why can't I?" Listen Usagi, she recently bought a bike for her shitheel of a student and adopted son and is renting a loft that belonged to famous Vista City artist. Money is no object here. Let her be your sugar mommy.

She can't fight such a calm, cool, and controlled response. Amarat is just like Rei in that regard.

"Ah- well... d-don't you need it?"

"I recently got a raise. I have lots of spending money now. I can't be blamed if I want to spoil a friend." She purrs out.

Treat yo self Usagi.

Usagi brightened up when Aramat called her a a friend and she hugged onto the older woman.

"EEEE yay!" she exclaimed. "I'm glad we're friends! Ah, not for the spoiling, but that you said it."

While hugging Usagi Aramat looks at those golden locks of her, she remembers them, but they were a bit paler that hers.

"Porcelina."

"Porcelina?" she said as she looked up at Aramat. "Is that a brand or something?" she asked confused, not sure where it suddenly came from. "Aramat?"

If she looks at her, Aramat's eyes have gone blank, almost in a trance.

Despite what some might think of her, Usagi can actually be quite patient. So she lets Aramat stay in her trance, merely linking their fingers to offer her silent support. She doesn't know what she's going through, but she'll stay by her side the whole time.

It's memory time and Aramat sometimes gets caught up in it. She snaps out of it.

"...I'm so sorry."

"No, it's okay, did ah... are you alright?" she asked instead, rubbing her back. She had an idea what might have happened, but couldn't assume or let on.

"I occasionally get...spacey sometimes and I say strange things on occasion. I'm sorry." Aramat apologizes again.

"Do... you want to talk about it? We don't have to if you don't want to, though."

Aramat is silent for a moment... then speaks.

"...She she was one of my ladies. She had blonde hair like yours, a bit paler though. They're were ten or eleven of them, I guided them."

"One of your ladies?" she asked softly, not wanting the driver to hear. "Ah, what did you guide them with?"

"They lived with me. I provided them with shelter. And we... we. Tore people apart."

Aramat shakes struggling not to cry.

"We were monsters... human monsters under my care. Ghouls."

"Ah, hey," she suddenly cut in with a much more mature voice, grasping Aramat's hand and looking her in the eyes.

"You aren't a monster, not now, not ever. Even people who do terrible things have a chance to redeem themselves, to make things better."

"Are you sure- Are you sure Serena?" Her voice wobbles out.

"We were mad people, cared nothing for others. I see this everyday and the visions get stronger and stronger." Sometimes she feels like she's in a birdcage, but if she flies out she'll go to a world far more hostile to Aramat than this.

"I know so, I've seen even the worst people change, Aramat, and you are nothing like her. You just need someone to hold out their hand, someone to help. If it horrifies you now, you can change. It may take... years, and it's going to be hard, but you can do it. I believe in you. If that's what you really, truly want, it can happen."

She wrapped up Aramat in her arms, even if the woman was older, Usagi would never deny someone affection if they were in need.

"You're so strong, if you ant to change yourself you can, if you want to change the world, you can do that too."

"I just... I just wonder which is real sometimes. The woman in the visions, or the one here? Which is the false one?" Aramat says in-between sobs.

If if the horrid woman in the visions is true, then why is she here? And why try to remember anything else about her.

She kept a hold of Aramat and wondered if she should reveal herself, but then, Aramat was hurting, aching, how could she not? She swallowed and hugged the woman tighter.

"They're both you, but... but you don't have to keep being them if it makes you unhappy. You don't have to change for anyone but yourself, Aramat. Maybe... maybe you can find something new, or something in-between, something that will make you happy when everything is said and done."

"I just- I don't know what to do. I don't know who I am anymore."

Happiness is a fickle thing though.

"I hope. Sometimes I enjoy my time here, I just wish there wasn't this doubt."
