Throughout March, Aramat is rather busy with various things, recording for Crown of Thorns, performing in clubs, searching for apartments to spend some quiet time in, and perhaps other errands. Of course there's always time for fun as well...

Trailing off, Jecht shook his head. He'd answer if she asked, but only if she asked.

"It sounds much more exciting than what I see." Or maybe that's because she doesn't remember the monsters of her world yet.

"Haven't heard much about it yet," Jecht rumbled. A neutral statement -- she could elaborate or not as she chose.

"It's nothing too special... it gets unbearably hot during the summer, all the people talk like I do, magnolia's bloom like weeds, and there's a river in the area where I am from."

"Sounds... so damn sedate for you." Where's the energy, the passion, the fiery girl he loved?

"It's the sort of place you have to make your own excitement. Or you have to look for it. I was always busy, I had eleven other women to take care of." Also murders to do and corpses to rob, good times.

"Heh heh. Take care of." Still trying to keep things light with some coarse humor, though the effort rang hollow.

He reached out with the hand that wasn't around her, reaching for her own.

"I don't know anything that's happening. But if I'm damn sure of one thing, it's that I'm glad you're in my life."

Little does he know is that dirty joke does have grains of truth in it.

His hand reaches out for her own, she gladly takes his. It feels... right and she can't help but smile as him. "I am too." While trapped in a cage, she met a knight, faithful and true and chivalrous.

She leans and kisses him, gentle and warm, her hands going through his his hair.

It's Aramat. She's a hungry girl. He doesn't know, but he sure guesses.

"I'd make you mine," he said, his lips gentle against hers as they broke the kiss but didn't quite separate, "if you were that kinda girl. I got music and I got you. Don't care how shit the rest of it gets, that'll keep me going."

Admittedly, she can be a bit of a glutton.

"That doesn't sound too bad... being yours." She doesn't care if anything is real, he's real and he's here with her

"Yeah, right up till you saw some hot meat you wanted." He pressed a kiss to her forehead, his laughter just a little rumble in the depths of his chest.

"I'm not going to deny choice protein when it's in front of me. I like to have variety. You'd understand that... right?" Unless he's actually serious.

"'Course I understand it. Maybe sometimes I just wish..." No need to finish that sentence. Jecht tugged her a little closer. "But hey. I'll take you as you are. Gladly."

"...That I was all yours? Maybe you can convince me, but until then you'll have to share me." She coos out.

He DID warn about getting smited. He may have been kidding, but they sure have reasons...

"Heh. I got no argument. All I got to offer is me, and you have that already."

"And I'm happy with you, as long as you're here. I can stay in this place." Which is getting stranger and stranger each day.

Jecht's eyes unfocused slightly as he looked past her, faint horror and alarm mingling in his voice. "...I can't go back. If any of that's real, I have to stay here."

She leans on him. "I completely understand that. I don't want to go back either."

"It's not -- it's not about wanting, Aramat." He took a breath, an unsteady and ragged gulp of air. "If it's real, and I go back -- people die. A lot of people."

He said he's more akin to a sea monster. "What happened to you over there?"

"You'd -- I can't explain it." She'd believe it, but how COULD he explain Spira to anyone who hadn't been there? "But I'm... I ain't human any more. Just the heart of a monster."

"...Don't say that. You're human to me here. And if you insist that you are, then I'm in love with a monster with a capital and you're in love with a murderer, I guess that's how it is." First off, she can't believe she just admitted that to him, but at the same time it feels... freeing.

"...You fucked a guy to death, right? Because I could believe that." Once again, lame humor gave him breathing space to process all that. Actually, he didn't have trouble believing it, but to hear it said -- well, he needed a moment.

"Jecht! You're cursing in a church. What? Do you think I'm some sort of sex demon?" You know it's pretty shocking and bad when she's starting to join in the the lame humor.

"'Think' my ass, I'm lucky to be alive." He dropped the arm around her waist down to her rear for a quick squeeze, though without much real ardor behind it. This talk was too heavy to just banish with hormones.
