Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers
Who: Usagi Tsukino and OPEN
Where: All over Vista
What: It's a rainy week and Usagi is missing home
When: All week
Warnings: None I can think of
A: Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers
It was raining. It was a surprise shower and the clouds looked like they would be there all week. But surprise or not, it was April, so Usagi always carried her umbrella on her during the month. She let out a sigh as she was walking home, her umbrella over her head. It was a brand new umbrella and it was covered in little rabbits and cats. It was so adorable how could she not purchase it? Besides, it allowed her to have more than one person under it too.
Which seemed to be a good thing, at the moment. As she walking back to her newer home, she saw someone under an awning, clearly stuck and without their own umbrella. She checked her watch. Well, she still had time before anyone else would be home. She headed over to them and offered a smile.
"If you need, I don't mind walking you to the bus stop or to get a cab or something?" She'd even walk them home if they really needed.
B: What Can Compare With Your Beautiful Sound?
Maybe this was a bad idea.
Usagi frowned as she flipped through the song-requests book. It was karaoke night at Brad's Diner and she had come to support the new idea but she had absolutely no confidence in singing. She also had absolutely no idea what half these songs were.
"Uuuugh there's so maaaany," she sighed as she kept glancing. "And half of these are duets," she mumbled. "At this rate I'm not going to be singing until it's over."
C: Drip Drip Drop When the Sky is Cloudy
Why? Why did this ALWAYS happen to her? She groaned and her shoulders visibly slumped forward as she held the umbrella over her head. She knew this was the address, she had the flowers to deliver in her arms, but the security guard was staunchly blocking her path.
"Oh come ooooon," she groaned, showing him the invoice. "It says right here, that I have a delivery for the band from the building manager! I just need to get in, drop it off, and then I'll be on my way!" she whined, growing more frustrated as this was now the third time she showed him the paper work and he had "called to the building manager" to see if they were actually going to let her in.
"I could have been gone by now! I'm not even staying to watch the band I just need to deliver these bouquets!" she stomped her foot, trying to leave before the band even arrived. "Don't you have anything better to do than stop me from delivering bought and paid for flowers!"
D: Your Pretty Music Can Brighten the Day
"EEEEEE!" the sun had made an appearance, finally! She loved rain, certainly, but she was like a sunflower, drawn to the light. Usagi was practically glowing as she spread out her arms and just spun around, letting all the warmth touch her skin as she walked through the park.
"Aaaah," she took a deep breath. The sun was warm but the grass and pavement was wet, the air still heavy but a rainbow bright in the sky. Her eyes were closed in content.
Which was perhaps her mistake as she took another slight spin... and her hand promptly smacked someone.
Her eyes snapped open.
"AAAAAH ARE YOU OKAY!?!" Goodbye good mood, hello panic.

"I'd really appreciate it, Polpetta" Did he just call her Meatball in Italian. Yes. Yes he did. It's the hair, sorry about that, Usagi. "Let me sit down on a bench for you and you can fix me up."
He starts towards one and seems a bit relieved. "Good. I really don't know what sort of shit girls her age are into, so...I had to guess."
no subject
"My name is Serena Lapin, by the way!" she offered as she took the frog plush and followed him to a bench. Considering Xanxus height and how short Usagi was, even sitting down, it only made them equal heights. "And girls can be into anything and everything, depends on the girl."
no subject
It reminds him that he hasn't introduced himself and for a moment, he wonders if he should. He has a reputation after all. Even if right now he's being perfectly civilized. "Xanxus. But don't say that too loudly. I'm trying to avoid rabid fans right now."
no subject
At the mention of his name, she doesn't respond one way or another as she fixes his cheek. She told Luci once that she would judge someone herself upon meeting them, and she had only just now met Xanxus. She smiled wide.
"Well, you're in luck, no rabid fans here, just a rabbit one."
no subject
"Sounds like I got a lot of work ahead of me. But I think it'll be worth it." He shrugs a little and then reaches out to pat her on the head. "I don't have carrots for you to reply you for this, but is there some singer you really like. I can try to get you an autograph."
no subject
"You don't need to get me anything or give me anything. It was my fault for causing you to have your makeup ruined. Although, if you'd say hi to Luci for me, that would make my day!" She even had a cellphone now too! "Alright," she pulled away and held up the compact's mirror to Xanxus.
"How'd I do?"
no subject
He looks at his reflection and nods. "You did a great job. You'd do great as a makeup artist. But I mean it. Let me at least do something for you. You like...pizza or something? Maybe it'll give me practice for when I meet my own little girl."
no subject
"Thank you, and pizza sounds great! I love all food... well, carrots being the exception of course, but I wasn't kidding about being able to eat anything."
no subject
He then stands and picks up that massive frog. "Pizza it is then. I know just the place. I'll make sure they don't put any carrots on your pie." He's going to happily lead her to the place with the closest authentic pizza he can find. It's a real shame because Xanxus misses real pizza.
no subject
"Well, I won't tell a soul, and I'll make sure that there aren't any anchovies on it, either!" she smiled bright. "And that's great, what's the place called? Maybe I know it."
no subject
"That means "happy mouth" where I'm originally from." He's remembered he's from Italy long ago but it still works with his fake ass backstory. "And I can tell you from experience that it's not false advertising."
In fact, it looks like the waitresses all know him because they're setting up the best table in the patio for them.
no subject
She prayed that it was still called Italian in this place.
She gives several "thank yous" to the staff who, despite glaring, still give her respect as waitresses. Usagi is kind enough to keep holding the stuffed frog so Xanxus' doesn't have to worry about his image.
"Well, I'll have to tell my cousins about this place, we're always looking for good restaurants."
no subject
He's a little grateful to her because she has kept hold the frog. He might never live it down if she hadn't. As it was, there might be rumors about him hitting on young teen girls on top of everything else he supposedly does. Well, so be it.
"I'm sure your cousins will really like it. Now, they do have a menu, but I can tell you right now that you really want to have their pizza."
no subject
"Alright, so besides no anchovies on the pizza, what should I have on it? I won't say no to any ingredient except carrots." Not that she'd ever seen carrots on a pizza but still.
