Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers
Who: Usagi Tsukino and OPEN
Where: All over Vista
What: It's a rainy week and Usagi is missing home
When: All week
Warnings: None I can think of
A: Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers
It was raining. It was a surprise shower and the clouds looked like they would be there all week. But surprise or not, it was April, so Usagi always carried her umbrella on her during the month. She let out a sigh as she was walking home, her umbrella over her head. It was a brand new umbrella and it was covered in little rabbits and cats. It was so adorable how could she not purchase it? Besides, it allowed her to have more than one person under it too.
Which seemed to be a good thing, at the moment. As she walking back to her newer home, she saw someone under an awning, clearly stuck and without their own umbrella. She checked her watch. Well, she still had time before anyone else would be home. She headed over to them and offered a smile.
"If you need, I don't mind walking you to the bus stop or to get a cab or something?" She'd even walk them home if they really needed.
B: What Can Compare With Your Beautiful Sound?
Maybe this was a bad idea.
Usagi frowned as she flipped through the song-requests book. It was karaoke night at Brad's Diner and she had come to support the new idea but she had absolutely no confidence in singing. She also had absolutely no idea what half these songs were.
"Uuuugh there's so maaaany," she sighed as she kept glancing. "And half of these are duets," she mumbled. "At this rate I'm not going to be singing until it's over."
C: Drip Drip Drop When the Sky is Cloudy
Why? Why did this ALWAYS happen to her? She groaned and her shoulders visibly slumped forward as she held the umbrella over her head. She knew this was the address, she had the flowers to deliver in her arms, but the security guard was staunchly blocking her path.
"Oh come ooooon," she groaned, showing him the invoice. "It says right here, that I have a delivery for the band from the building manager! I just need to get in, drop it off, and then I'll be on my way!" she whined, growing more frustrated as this was now the third time she showed him the paper work and he had "called to the building manager" to see if they were actually going to let her in.
"I could have been gone by now! I'm not even staying to watch the band I just need to deliver these bouquets!" she stomped her foot, trying to leave before the band even arrived. "Don't you have anything better to do than stop me from delivering bought and paid for flowers!"
D: Your Pretty Music Can Brighten the Day
"EEEEEE!" the sun had made an appearance, finally! She loved rain, certainly, but she was like a sunflower, drawn to the light. Usagi was practically glowing as she spread out her arms and just spun around, letting all the warmth touch her skin as she walked through the park.
"Aaaah," she took a deep breath. The sun was warm but the grass and pavement was wet, the air still heavy but a rainbow bright in the sky. Her eyes were closed in content.
Which was perhaps her mistake as she took another slight spin... and her hand promptly smacked someone.
Her eyes snapped open.
"AAAAAH ARE YOU OKAY!?!" Goodbye good mood, hello panic.

"There are Sailor Guardians for every planet in our Solar System, some of the moons, and it spans across the galaxy... across the universe!" she smiled, swallowing.
"I'm not quite like them, though. They protect the outer solar system, stopping things from getting to Earth before it could do any real damage. Saturn, Neptune, Uranus, and Pluto are all incredibly powerful senshi."
no subject
“So, they’re watchers. And…Venus, Mercury, Jupiter, Mars, the Moon and the Earth? What about them?”
Since she knew who Venus and the Moon are, she has a guess about the Earth…but the other three remain somewhat more nebulous. Flashes in dreams, flickering images, but nothing concrete yet.

She figured this at least was a safe thing to discuss.
"Almost every planet, whether people live there or not, has a crystal for the protection of that planet. The sailor guardian wields that crystal... has that crystal as a part of her so that she can protect that planet. No matter what happens to the body of a senshi, so long as the crystal is intact, she can constantly be remade and reborn. But a sailor guardian can only be female. The golden crystal, that is, Earth's Crystal, it belongs to the Prince of Earth, Prince Endymion. He is a great warrior, however, and protects the planet even as if he cannot be a senshi, he has fought alongside myself and the others since the beginning."

"I knew Endymion, didn't I? I've had a vision of him. It was a while ago, and I didn't know what to think of him but I think I was helping him deal with an assassin."
no subject
Was it Beryl? Nehelennia? It could have been any number of enemies.

"Rei... I'm sorry that you've been put through so much here."
no subject
She won't accept your pity!
no subject
"Ah... yeah," she swallowed and moved to sit next to her.
"Any more questions? I'll answer as much as I can."
no subject
Rei's thought about this. Mars, the Red Planet, mythologically tied to Vulcan and Hephaestus, the gods of Fire and the Forge. She has power over flame, and she's seen all the others in visions. Her inquisitive mind won't allow her not to ask the question.
no subject
"You are. You're Sailor Mars, guardian of fire, passion, and war. Within you, even now, is the Mars Crystal."
She knew that she could reach out to it, as their crystals were connected, but she didn't know what that would do to Rei, or if she could in her current state.
no subject
"I knew it. I knew I had to be one of you, else you wouldn't have been so bothered by me not remembering."
The three things she's told she guards are...well...she understands the first two. Fire obviously, and passion for whatever she does and whoever she's with. Yosuke had seen that, Minako as well, even Mai to a point, and the family got a different kind, as did her music. It added up.
"Am I...wait, crystal? I have a gem inside me?"
no subject
At her question she laughed and nodded.
She reached out and poked Rei right at her heart.
"You do, it's a part of you and you are a part of it. I have one too. Every senshi has one." She pressed a hand to her own brooch before undoing the bow and opening the heart and winged shaped brooch.
"This is mine," It glowed, softly, the light pulsing in time with Usagi's heart. "It's a part of me and my life is connected to it." She closed the brooch and put it away. "I use it to turn into Sailor Moon."
no subject
“Do I get an…outfit…like yours?”
no subject
"Well... not quite like mine, but similar. Yours is red, white, purple, but otherwise yes, they're mostly the same where it matters."
no subject
That's sort of a big deal, if everyone has the color coordinated uniform and she doesn't!
no subject
"I could show you, if you want?"
no subject
"Alright..."
no subject
She tilted her head.
"Tadah, I suppose."
no subject
"That's...impressive." Impractical, she thought, but impressive.
"We're all like that?"
no subject
"Well... yes. Every senshi in the Sol System. Though it differs once you get out of our solar system."
no subject
Since, you know...Mars, Venus, Mercury, etc...
