A: Drip Drip Drop Little April Showers

It was raining. It was a surprise shower and the clouds looked like they would be there all week. But surprise or not, it was April, so Usagi always carried her umbrella on her during the month. She let out a sigh as she was walking home, her umbrella over her head. It was a brand new umbrella and it was covered in little rabbits and cats. It was so adorable how could she not purchase it? Besides, it allowed her to have more than one person under it too.

Which seemed to be a good thing, at the moment. As she walking back to her newer home, she saw someone under an awning, clearly stuck and without their own umbrella. She checked her watch. Well, she still had time before anyone else would be home. She headed over to them and offered a smile.

"If you need, I don't mind walking you to the bus stop or to get a cab or something?" She'd even walk them home if they really needed.

Maybe this was a bad idea.

Usagi frowned as she flipped through the song-requests book. It was karaoke night at Brad's Diner and she had come to support the new idea but she had absolutely no confidence in singing. She also had absolutely no idea what half these songs were.

"Uuuugh there's so maaaany," she sighed as she kept glancing. "And half of these are duets," she mumbled. "At this rate I'm not going to be singing until it's over."

C: Drip Drip Drop When the Sky is Cloudy

Why? Why did this ALWAYS happen to her? She groaned and her shoulders visibly slumped forward as she held the umbrella over her head. She knew this was the address, she had the flowers to deliver in her arms, but the security guard was staunchly blocking her path.

"Oh come ooooon," she groaned, showing him the invoice. "It says right here, that I have a delivery for the band from the building manager! I just need to get in, drop it off, and then I'll be on my way!" she whined, growing more frustrated as this was now the third time she showed him the paper work and he had "called to the building manager" to see if they were actually going to let her in.

"I could have been gone by now! I'm not even staying to watch the band I just need to deliver these bouquets!" she stomped her foot, trying to leave before the band even arrived. "Don't you have anything better to do than stop me from delivering bought and paid for flowers!"

D: Your Pretty Music Can Brighten the Day

"EEEEEE!" the sun had made an appearance, finally! She loved rain, certainly, but she was like a sunflower, drawn to the light. Usagi was practically glowing as she spread out her arms and just spun around, letting all the warmth touch her skin as she walked through the park.

"Aaaah," she took a deep breath. The sun was warm but the grass and pavement was wet, the air still heavy but a rainbow bright in the sky. Her eyes were closed in content.

Which was perhaps her mistake as she took another slight spin... and her hand promptly smacked someone.

Her eyes snapped open.

"AAAAAH ARE YOU OKAY!?!" Goodbye good mood, hello panic.

She's set down, gently, just as Luci asked and she is placed right beside her. She watches, amused, as the next few songs are just as excitable, though steadily the energy goes down to something a bit more manageable.

She turns to Luci, panting.

"Is every performance like that for you? No wonder you're a rock star!" she laughed as she hugged onto Luci. "That was terrifying though! I'm glad you were there."

"Nah, it's not always like that," Luci says, automatically wrapping her arms around Serena and grinning. "Usually it's wilder. More people. Property damage."

And these are all great things from how she's grinning about them. "Come on, victory milkshake before these guys find their sharpies and get their bras off."

"Ah glad there wasn't that one, my cousin Di would NEVER forgive me!" she exclaimed as she wrapped her arms right back around Luci.

"EEEE yay! And chocolate please! And don't worry Luci, I'll protect you!" she laughed as she made little karate slices in the air with her hands, making the "waaaah" noises as she did so.

"Wow, put those away before you hurt someone darling," she laughs and putts her arm around Serena's shoulder and starts guiding her to the counter. Plenty of people make a path for her so she can put in an order for a chocolate milkshake and an Oreo one.

"Where are your cousins tonight? They here?"

She is bouncing beside Luci, still high off the performance since it was like nothing she was used to. She looked around for Minako and smiled as she lightly pulled on Luci's sleeve, pointing to the beautiful blonde with the red bow. There really was an incredible resemblance between the two of them.

"That's Diana, but call her Di. She was Rei Hino's partner on Fairy Trial," and now current girlfriend. "Would you like to meet her?"

Blonde, pretty, and legs for days. Luci is already interested-- obviously because she's Serena's relative and friend. Of course.

"Sure," Luci grins. "Any friend of yours I'd love to meet."

"Well, you'll love her, everyone does," she pulled Luci along and brought her over to Minako, waiting for Minako to finish dropping off a round of milkshakes to a small group who had just gotten off stage.

"Di! Di this is my friend Luci! Luci, this is my cousin, Diana."

Minako glides across the floor to her cousin and the famous star, all smiles. She flips her hair back behind her shoulder.

"Hey there! I'm Di, always pleased to feed a new face...but Serena's been keeping you pretty busy, hasn't she? She's good at that."

She'll always worry about her princess, but she looks so happy tonight. Minako can live with that.

"Oh I think I've been keeping her busy," Luci grins and puts her arm around Serena. "I think she expected that last number to be a solo.

"Nice to meet you, Di," she winks. "Big crowd you have here tonight-- it like this all the time, or did twitter show up?"

She might have mentioned it in passing on her feed, but one never knows if anybody will take the time on such short notice.

She accepts the arm easily, Usagi was incredibly affectionate so it wasn't all that strange nor the slightest bit uncomfortable for her. "I had more fun with it being a duet, though, and you hid how bad a singer I am," she laughed.

"This was Di's idea to have a karaoke night! Brad's was always slow around this time of the week, so my brilliant cousin thought up this!" Usagi would always gush about her senshi when given the chance. "Isn't it amazing?! Though this is my first time coming to it."

"And I'm really glad to have you," Di smiled. "We're big fans of the stars, you see...so we love the chance to play at it too!"

She poured all her energy right into a dramatic pose, appropriate for taking the stage. "The only rule's to cheer as loud as you can for everyone. Drinks are on us, and if anybody makes trouble, I'll kick 'em right out!"

She brandished her ultimate weapon: the old mop, thankfully dry but still rather scraggly looking.

Luci chuckles at the posing, but the energy is more or less appreciated. Di and Serena aren't exactly the sorts of fans she's used to meeting, but that makes it refreshing for a change.

"Glad I didn't bring the rest of my band, then. You'd have your hands full kicking us all out. But I'll be on my best behavior tonight, promise," she says with a wink.

"Hmm? But Xanxus is so sweet! He took me out for Italian and even bought me ribbons for my hair once!" she smiled. Luci would find Usagi tended to have the most skewed opinions of people. Not because they treated her differently (though they did), but because she saw the best in people even because of the smallest act.

"And Luci is always on her best behavior, Di, she's just trying to act all aloof and scary, like Alex."

"Oh...ah. I think I see the similarity already," Minako nods. This is beginning to make some sense. "You're all about the charm, right?"

"Ribbons for your hair...?" This is apparently news to Luci, and striking news at that. But, then again, Xanxus tried to take Jamie to see the beach that one time, so it's not like the man is allergic to niceties. Still. Ribbons.

"Hey now, it's not nice to lie, Serena," Luci grins and hip-checks her gently. "I'm on my best behavior, sometimes. And there's a little more substance to me than just charm," she says, giving Di a very clear once-over up and down. Cute, very cute.

"Mmhmm! He was buying them for a friend who really likes sharks and his daughter, so I gave some shopping advice, now I'm his shopping advisor," she laughed although she was completely serious. Usagi had the ability to bring out the most unseen sides in people.

"Not lying," she teased, sticking out her tongue. "You can't fool me."

"Oh, that's great!" Minako grinned. "And she's right, y'know, nothing slips past Sere. She sees right through people...it's amazing, and a little scary, but I love her."

'Di' bounces forward to give her cousin a little hug. Usagi, who always sees the shining light in everyone.
