Sans was determined to run and bring someone with him. Luce didn't waste a moment starting to pack when he told her. She was going to get her family out of Virgo now.

The rescuers were informed and the Sailor Senshi that had been waiting so eagerly for this day prepared to meet with Rei and her bandmates as soon as Sans teleported them to the agreed location. From there they would split into groups and take different paths to the warehouse where Silver would be waiting to begin surgery to remove their brain chips. Blanche would notice something wasn't right, no doubt. An entire band doesn't simply walk out the door, even with the teleporting head start. Someone from Virgo will try to stop them and hopefully they won't succeed.

Honestly I wasn't expecting someone I knew to show up. I think I had been alone for a time when they caught me. Except the TARDIS. My strange and wonderful blue police box.

One good thing came out of this mess. For nearly a year it's been more than just me and my non-speaking companion. [ He pats the top of his cello. ] What a fine band we made, nasty Virgo aside.

[ Ivan murmurs to himself. It makes sense, though he can't really figure out why a police box would be so important to him. But, it doesn't really matter in the end as long as that's something Doctor remembered. ]

I guess that's all over with now... I just hope I made the right choice...

Wait. Which choice are you talking about? [ Clarification. Right. ]

[ Like he argued at the penthouse before Sans started teleporting everyone out. ]

[ Doctor shakes his head and grabs Ivan by the shoulders. ]

No. Not with the rest of us leaving. Blanche would either hurt you in anger over us leaving or he'd hurt you to either lure us back or prepare for the possibility. You'd have him lingering over you constantly just like Gregory Universe is constantly under his watch lately. Then you wouldn't be able to do anything to help anyone. -He could even brainwash you further- take away your power again!

You made the right choice getting out of there.

[ Ivan sounds very skeptical, but he's not going to push the issue with Doctor. He's tired, and no doubt Doctor needs time to recover too. ]

Um, I think I'm going to try and find a place to sit down for a while. Is that okay?

[ If Doctor's head wasn't still banging away he'd be more persistent. This time he drops the subject. ]

Yes yes. We've been sitting on some of the old shipment boxes. Are you hungry?

[ Truthfully, Ivan doesn't have much of an appetite right now, but he feels like he has to concede somewhere to keep Doctor from worrying needlessly about him. ]

Maybe a little thirsty. Do you think there's anything around?

I know so! We were just passing around drinks and snacks the rescuers brought for us when we realized you were missing from the scene. Over here. [ He pushes Ivan in the direction of the crates and the bag someone had brought back from a grocery store run. ]

Had you not shown up just now we would have started a search!

[ Which... being Ivan, is entirely possible. He moves along over to the grocery store run, wondering who among the rescuers managed to do this while they were escaping. They just got here after all. ]
