Press events? Not happening. Concerts? Cancelled. Going out at all? N o p e.

Everyone- well every newbie- is ball and chained to Virgo Entertainment's headquarters for the time being. What's the emergency? No one knows, but you're all stuck here regardless.

Ivan isn't up incredibly early in the morning, having spent part of it in his penthouse eating pancakes, but he does walk around later in the day. He lingers in one of the cafes or lounges with a cup of coffee as he stares out at the ocean. He has his bachi that he strums his shamisen with him, twirling it gently between his fingers. There's no shamisen to go with it. It's currently in repair from his antics in that basement room.

Upon hearing someone enter, Ivan lifts his head up to look, but who knows when he'll be noticed. Ivan doesn't have that strange tendency to only be noticed well after the fact. But, maybe he'll be seen right away.

Shotaro glanced around on his way in to see if there was anyone important around. He didn't really have much energy for the weird tension that followed the suits lately. But Ivan was a nice sight to see.

He gets himself a coffee, (still black, but with a lot more sugar than normal) and settles in near Ivan. "Howdy," he starts simply, with a tip of his cowboy hat. But he definitely seems to have something further to say. Even if he's being a bit too awkward to actually spit it out.

"Ohayou," Ivan responds in kind before taking a sip of his coffee. There are bags under his eyes like he hasn't been sleeping well, but that is what the miracle of caffeine is for. It's also a lot better to focus on than the suits eyeing them like they're about to do something wrong. (For Ivan, he feels that accusation might be warranted.)

"Um... Sorry about ruining our jam session earlier."

Shotaro waved a hand. "Nothing to worry yourself over. As weird as all that was, someone was gonna have a problem."

"Good to see you okay, though," he says. And it's genuine. Whatever was going on, he hated that it was putting everyone on edge. Didn't people get along better before?

Life seemed grand for most of them before. Now, they're facing strange visions, possessions, and lockdowns without a real reason given. However, Ivan's very relieved that there's no hard feeling between them.

"I hope you've been holding up okay."

"Things have been a mite too interestin' lately," he said with a light chuckle. "I'm not sure if all of this is worth it anymore."

The last comment surprise Ivan, eyes widening slightly behind his glasses. It's almost like the idea of not performing and creating music is something wrong and the worst fate to befall anyone. Ivan can't imagine his live without his band or playing on his shamisen. This is what he lived for.

"Are you thinking of leaving?"

The answer comes quickly. "N-no," he says. But did he really mean it? The answer came easy enough, though. "Maybe I just need a vacation from all this hub-bub. All this city hullabaloo is a little too much for a country boy."

"At least you get a break now. We can't really do much trapped in HQ like we are." It's not exactly a vacation where one can completely relax, but they are away from the public eye and public pressures. Even Virgo doesn't seem to be telling them what to do exactly (or why everything has been canceled).
