Everyone- well every newbie- is ball and chained to Virgo Entertainment's headquarters for the time being. What's the emergency? No one knows, but you're all stuck here regardless.

[Weasel finishes his current line of song before stopping to give her his attention. He'd considered ignoring her completely, not wanting to take a break from his playing, but he'd made the decision to do this where others could hear - so that the rest of them knew he was improving. It doesn't make any sense not to give any of them the time of day when addressed.]

... Yes. I intend to be more productive.

[Not that he'd been lazy about things before.]

Considering how you are, I'm sure we're all going to be knocked off our feet at you going the extra mile.

[She takes a seat nearby, plucking the pen from its place]

I've been feeling the same, lately. Maybe our bands could collaborate, somehow. It'd be nice to try out, wouldn't it?

[yuruse]

You'd have to take it up with our manager.

[She could take it up with Greg, of course, and the man would be sure to agree wholeheartedly, but he ultimately doesn't have the final say in the matter. As for the bit of offered praise, Weasel ignores that completely.]

Though if we can come up with some good medleys I doubt she'll protest too much.

[You never knew with her, though.]

Then that's all that needs to be done, right? So long as it's good, then that's enough!

[Flipping through the pages of her book, she beams.]

And both our bands are doing so great, I'm sure it would make a big hit, don't you think?

It's a matter of mixing styles, but I'm sure we'll be fine.

[How well their bands are doing on an individual level doesn't matter as much, in his opinion, but that's semantics.]

As long as we have time, of course, between working on our own projects. [A couple members had mentioned working on something, but he's not sure how serious they are about it yet.]

Oh? Do you have one that you're trying out, then?

[She knows she does, but, well, there you go.]

... It's best not disclosed until ideas are finalized.

[Because if it even happens, it will either be very fun or very embarrassing.]

I'm not a hundred percent sure everyone is serious.

I can promise I am, but... I suppose that's not enough, hm?

[yuruse]

I'm sure you are. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with our potential album.

[He band can be... a little ridiculous at times.]

You're in a band with Greg and Meril, aren't you? I'm friends with them.

[Well, Luce is friends with anyone that sits still long enough, but regardless.]

Meril and I have actually meant to do research for lyric writing when our schedules match up... Maybe we can all get together for a brainstorming session for the project?

[yuruse]

Like I said, it's up to them.

[Being put in charge of decisions that involve the whole group is uncomfortable, so he avoids it.]

But it sounds like something they'd be for.

Greg is the excitable sort, isn't he?

[Luce laughs a little bit as she glances down at her notes.]

He seems like a delight to work with, from a creative standpoint.

[yuruse]

... He can be, it's true.

[And that gets the smallest of smiles out of him.]

He helps keep the group positive.

[Luce glances back at him, eyes shining a little.]

Oh, is that a problem?

Everyone needs a little positivity sometimes, is all.

[Has Luce seen Weasel's preferred color scheme?]

Greg is perfect for that.

You know, it's quite sweet how you all look out for him.

[He couldn't have more perfect guardian angels.]

[yuruse]

[Weasel shrugs at that. Greg is just a perfect cinnamon roll, you know? Too pure for this world or whatever. Mostly he's sweet and fluffy.]

He looks out for us too. That's just how it is.

[Their whole group is oddly protective.]

I bet he knows your birthdays, too. He seems like the kind of person.

[Attentive and caring. One day he'll make a wonderful dad- she's sure that voice she heard down in the basement in his... whatever it was was Tiger's, too.]

Well, if he doesn't he'll do something belatedly once he finds out.

[Asking him to remember their birthdays might be a bit much, but Greg would be the type to celebrate if he knew for sure. Weasel knows he never mentions his. (For one thing, it's 6/9 and he can't help it if people are immature.)]

You should get the drop on him, one day. Surprise him first.

[Or is that just something she'd do? Well, the idea is cute, if nothing else.]

Hm. It's an idea.

[Unlike Greg, Weasel isn't really the type to throw people a party unless he's coerced into it first. But if anyone is deserving of something like that, it's his bandmate.]

You seem invested.

Well, so far, there's not a person in your band I haven't liked.

[Aggressively friendly person that she is, that's probably not a surprise.]

And Greg deserves something nice.
