So.

Press events? Not happening. Concerts? Cancelled. Going out at all? N o p e.

Everyone- well every newbie- is ball and chained to Virgo Entertainment's headquarters for the time being. What's the emergency? No one knows, but you're all stuck here regardless.

Are you sure? [Clutching the stair banister with knuckles white, coughing like he was choking, none of it came across like a simple coughing fit.]

Feeling dizzy at all? [That would explain the imbalance.]

[yuruse]

No. Well, not anymore.

[Weasel shakes his head. He does, in fact, feel fine. And that's strange, given what had just happened. Spontaneous choking fits are possible, aren't they? Perhaps he'd inhaled a bug without knowing it.

Though that doesn't explain the images that feel so strongly like memories. Something psychological had triggered the reaction. He just wishes he knew where it was all coming from.]

Something must have gone down the wrong pipe.

[trustme]

Oh yeah I hate it when that happens. [Doctor backed down a step to give Weasel his space now that he appeared stable on his own.] Seems to happen more when I'm moving. That could be dangerous on the stairs! Good thing you caught the railing. I'd hate to see you bedridden too.

Seems everyone trapped in headquarters right now has been prone to accidents and some sort of virus or exhaustion.

[yuruse]

"... Injuring myself isn't an option." Not now that he's gotten his groove back, so to speak. It would be the worst sort of irony for that to happen now. "I'll be certain to be more cautious."

Had it been so bad with everyone else, though? That night in the basement must have effected everyone even more than it seemed at first.

[trustme]

"I'm surprised Virgo hasn't called in a doctor to check us all. Luce collapsed, Ivan was taken away to the doctor, Kise was injured. If this were a factory our no accident sign would be shameful." Did labor laws apply to musicians and artists?

[yuruse]

"I didn't know it was so widespread." Some of these incidents he knew about. Others he's hearing of for the first time. He tries to keep track of his own band members, but knowing what's going on with all of Virgo at any given time is a little more difficult.

"Maybe recent changes have everyone stressed."

[trustme]

"One would think the lock down would leave us all bored out of our wits instead of ill," Doctor said with a shrug. He frowned and nearly whispered, "Unless we're still technically recovering from what happened in the basement."

[yuruse]

"It's possible..." He doesn't believe that's the case with him, but he can't be sure. Both instances had involved... visions, of sorts. Memories he doesn't recall being part of the life he should know.

"Best not to discuss that."

[trustme]

"You're not curious if the lock down and recent other events are related?" Doctor asks. Everyone else he had whispered things over with had seemed relieved to get their thoughts off their chests.

[yuruse]

Of course they're probably related. And if so, the managers are sure to know about them. They're not going to like rumors spreading about something unpleasant. It's bad for morale. Weasel shakes his head.

"I believe it's best not to talk about it."

[trustme]

"I personally can't help asking questions. It's strange and it's frustrating that the bosses haven't said a word about... anything." He rubs his forehead. "Not even one attempt at explanation."

[yuruse]

"It's their job as managers to keep us in the dark about things we don't need to concern ourselves with, isn't it?" His tone is neutral, making his true feelings on the matter more difficult to discern.

"Perhaps we should wait to hear something official."

[trustme]

"If they're going to make an official announcement they're taking an awfully long time to do it," Doctor suggests. "But to each his own. If it doesn't bother you, good for you. It's been like a bad itch for me."

[yuruse]

Oh it bothers Weasel for sure. He just doesn't want to make that known. For some reason, he's begun to be a little more secretive about things. He shouldn't make signs of dissent known. Go on like everything is normal.

"I'm sure there are plenty who will appreciate your curiosity."
