When you think of a woman who would send her daughter off to a convent, what kind of woman do you think of?

So not a woman with a tattoo on her face, or wearing gun holsters around her shoulders, right?

When I first came here from Europa... I remember getting this tattoo to celebrate my independence from that dreadful locked in fate.

[She lightly touches it, staring off to the balcony. The long stretching shining sea.... It makes her thinks of those rings.]

Yet for my mother to have a similar one, especially when she had been so fervently religious as I recall her... That doesn't make any sense at all.

Despite that, even if it's not totally outrageous... It seems so much like that song.

I really don't understand it either. Yet... Carrying on is all I can do, until I can find a way to realize what's happening.

[Rei's eyes flicker to the tattoo, and she nods. She can understand that, even if she'd never get a tattoo herself. She...didn't mind the thought of being a priestess, but a nun was different as she understood it.]

I guess, yes, you're right though. There isn't much we can do, even if it is incredibly frustrating. I'm just trying to keep it from Angel so she doesn't think I'm unfit to play...

Ha, that's my responsible Rei. So long as you keep thinking like that, the band won't be in any danger at all.

We'll look into things in our spare time. I'm sure something will come up, eventually. It's just a matter of staying calm.

[Rei stifles a sniffle and nods. Her arms wrap around Luce's and pull her in close.]

I know. You're...definitely the best surrogate mother I could ask for.
