[He may barely know this kid, but he knows the path he's on. He hates the whole "hedonistic rock star" thing that gets pushed and glorified in this business. He can put up the front for the media and he does well enough to fool them into think he's some sort of dangerous bad boy, but the truth is he's more or less the opposite. As evidenced by how invested he's getting in this whole mess. And how much he hates Xanxus's guts.]

Maybe Yama needs a crash course in dealing with kids.

[The way he says it seems to imply that he's willing to administer it himself, though it's kind of questionable what actually gives him that sort of authority. He doesn't have siblings or kids and he's never been in a band with anyone more than a few years younger than he is, and yet he's pretty sure somehow that he could write a book on this stuff. It's weird.]

If you can't find anyone your age here, date outside the industry. Just stay clear of Pride rejects.

Well, yeah. He had no idea how to deal with Kaworu. I'm pretty sure that's why Kaworu's gone.

[It wouldn't make for much of a story to date one of them, but that's probably for the best. It's easier to maintain the image they want you to maintain if you can keep your personal life, your real personal life, out of the spotlight.]
