Everyone got the same call-- and now we're all stuck in HQ with no hint of release in sight.

The reason? No one knows.

Can't sleep, [Koumei muttered, barely shifting his tired body so he could peer at Richard from his pile of pillows, blankets, and mass of unruly hair.] Can't get my brain to stop working-- too many sodas, I think.

[He buried his face once again in the pillow with a half-hearted groan, truly wondering if caffiene overdose was what was responsible for his strange dreams. The setting seemed almost akin to a war drama, but some of the people he had seen within were almost like creatures out of the haze of a fever.

It was small comfort that his dreams weren't related to the fiasco at the Carnival. It was bad enough finding Yuffie tied up with bombs strapped to her; he couldn't imagine what he would have done if it were Terry or Nariko.]

[ No, it was Richard who'd gotten Nariko, and the potential of getting her burned to death. But it was easier, since the had gotten her out, Richard and Max and Kido. He'd caught a glimpse of how furious she had been with their captors, at the exit, too far to stop her - but Luci had been there for that, so he guessed that had worked out, too.

For now, he leaned a shoulder against the wall. ]

You do know that people say if you stay in bed when you can't sleep, it'll get even harder to fall asleep, don't you?

[ Careful, cautious taunting? Yes, yes he was. ]

That's why I'm not in bed, [Koumei replied, equally pointedly.] I'm in.....somewhere not my bed.

[Frankly, he wasn't quite paying attention anymore. The restlessness was getting to him, but he didn't feel much urge to do...anything.]

What do you usually do, when you can't sleep? I could try a lullaby, though you'll have to deal with a slight rhythm addition. Probably my hand against my thigh, or something like that.
