Everyone got the same call-- and now we're all stuck in HQ with no hint of release in sight.

The reason? No one knows.

Jamie laughs good-naturedly at Sora's attempt at the liquor's name. "If you think it's hard to pronounce, you should try drinking it." He seems immune to that look Sora's giving him. Jamie knows that the stuff tastes like shit, but he doesn't drink it to enjoy the flavor.

"But yeah, there's a lot nicer stuff. Like, have you tried mudslides? They taste kinda like coffee. They make chocolate-flavored liquor too. And lotsa fruity ones." He giggles a little, because "fruity" is a hilarious word in his current state.

"Can you pronounce it while you're drinking it?" This is a serious question. Okay actually maybe it's not completely serious, but the curiosity here is definitely genuine.

And he's kinda amused that Jamie's asking him if he's ever tried a mudslide. Sora has had beer once in a while, and a sip of champagne once, and that was pretty much it that he can remember. That was the sum total of his experience with alcohol thus far.

"Like tasty, creamy sweet coffee? Or like plain, black bitter coffee?" He barely gets a chance to ask this, or consider the awesomeness that would be chocolate-flavored, before Jamie lets out a little giggle that surprises him enough that he snorts in laughter in response. "What? What's funny?"

Sora's laugh elicits another giggle and prompts Jamie to crane his head around to peer at him. "Y'know - fruity." He laughs a little harder, snorting indelicately. "It's - it's just funny. 's one of those - inherently funny words."

He has the stupidest grin on his face right now. He has pretty much the stupidest everything.

There is some amused staring. Amused because Jamie is laughing, he's still unsure why the word "fruity" is so funny but maybe that's because he doesn't have alcohol in his system at the moment.

"You're definitely still drunk."

And yet he's looking forward to laughing at stupid things too if that's what the drinking entails.

"One of 'em? What are the other funny words?"

"Uh - hm." Jamie actually gives this some thought, because this is clearly a Very Serious Topic. "Well, 'spatula' is pretty funny. 'Platypus.' Uh, 'cummerbund.' Oh. Oh man, here's a good one.

"'Pianist.'" He lets the word hang in the air, waiting expectantly for Sora's reaction.

Sora takes a few seconds to consider each of these words, does indeed give a small laugh at "platypus" because that's legit. Totally a funny word. He has no idea what a cummerbund is, though.

And, finally, "pianist" does get a laugh but only because Jamie thinks it's a funny word. "I think the other ones are kinda true, though I've never heard of 'cummerbund.' But why is pianist funny?"
