01: PREP | May 9th | did my invitations disappear/why'd I put my heart on every cursive letter?

Sometime during the 9th, an anonymous email comes in for everyone that knows Aramat. The contents are as such.

FRIENDS OF CERTAIN PRIDE PIANIST (PRIDE, VIRGO, OR OTHERWISE)

Her birthday is soon and she's throwing a little gathering at this address on the tenth of May starting at 2 P.M....

And the address to the loft is plainly out.

There will be cake, food, alcohol, and the possibility of performance. Gifts are optional, but appreciated. Let's enjoy ourselves before this world tour begins or one of us disappears. :) See you there!

P.S. Delete this email soon as you get it. If you snitch, I will come after you and collect my presents.

Aramat isn't sure what came over her to type that out but it feels right enough to make that threat. (Snitches get fucking stitches and have their important organs removed for her trophies.) Aramat wakes up early to go to stores for food, decorations, and most importantly, alcohol.

Will you run into the lady over at one of the stores?

02: PARTY | May 10th | i keep doin' it over and over again/the never ending places i never been/no one is catching on or calling my bluff

If you ask Aramat how old she is, even she can't really tell you.

Either way, that doesn't matter. Aramat is just getting finished setting up the spread of food on a large table surrounded by every type of liquor imaginable. (There also soft drinks as well, for the teetotalers in her life.) The menu is sort of diverse, Italian recipes that are fish related, steak, finger foods such as deviled eggs, ordered sushi, classic mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, and fried chicken, there's plenty of desserts as well. Cookies, cakes, and pies as far as the eye can see.

Aramat gets into a red dress and waits at the entrance of her in a chair, calm music, fresh flowers in vases, and fairy lights strewn all over the loft.

She wonders if she's just in denial about herself or what's going on.

03: PERFORMANCE/KARAOKE | May 10th | do every stupid thing that makes you feel alive/do every stupid thing to try to drive the dark away

In a corner of the loft there's a basic set up of drums, electric guitar, and bass. However the guests can bring their instruments of choice. What else does a bunch of somewhat drunken (brainwashed) musicians would do with instruments? Play of course.

04: BARS/CLUBS | May 10th | it's your birthday, it's your birthday/bad bitch contest, you win first place

Aramat isn't Squalo with his tour of 23 bars, but after her party she feels the need to cut even more loose. She isn't settling for a specific number, but she is hopping from bar to bar, from club to club in her slooty dress . She may already be tipsy from the party, so she's stumbling a bit.

Except that Usagi wasn't sure if she meant she didn't have to give a gift or that she shouldn't leave. She rather hoped it was the latter.

"Ah well... all the same, I hope you have a wonderful day today, Aramat. This is a lovely place!"

It's the latter. (As long as Usagi keeps her distance.) She smiles at the younger woman.

"I should have shown you this place. I come here when I need to relax." Or Pride HQ gets too oppressive.

"Well, I know it now," she offered with a smile. "And I'm not going anywhere soon," so long as Santiago and Blanche are still alive. "I would invite you to where I live but we just moved again, the landlord raised the rent too high on us so he could turn the house into a duplex," which was a complete and utter lie but the one she would stick to. "I live in an apartment complex now."

"Don't think I'm too good to visit your apartment you know. I always wanted to meet your cousins." Aramat offers.

"Oh that wasn't what I meant," she blushed, shaking her hands in front of her. "It's just, everything is in upheaval because of the move. But once we're settled in, of course you can come over! If you don't mind a mess you can come by anyways! Oh ah, if not, perhaps you want to come over for a karaoke night at Brad's Diner? That's where my cousin Di works!"

"I ought to go for lunch sometime then." She coos out.

"I'll take you! And this time, I'll treat! You do so much for me I want to return the kindness. I want to, as your friend," she said before Aramat would offer protests.

"Drats! You're starting to learn from me. I guess I have no choice here..." She teases.

[lightthedarkness]

"Well, how could I not learn from the best!" Somewhere, Ami Mizuno must be snapping her pencil out of sudden anger. "They make the best milkshakes in Vista, and I say that with complete honesty. I know that you like food that sticks to the ribs!"

Sorry Ami.

"Then it's a date."

[lightthedarkness]

"Yay, I love our dates!" she hugged onto Aramat, happy that their relationship seemed to be what it was again.

Just say no rescuer stuff, and it can remain the same as it was. Aramat gladly returns the hug.

"So! Is your birthday wonderful? Are you having fun? And if not, let me know how to fix it."

Actually it's not, but considering what happened the last time she let 'Serena' help her, it's best to lie.

"It is, so far."

Or maybe it's the liquor.

To be fair, she actually did help.

"Ah that's great!" Usagi wouldn't push, even if she had a feeling Aramat wanted to say more, but she wouldn't pry.

"Well, why don't we get something to eat! Or maybe I should sing for you!" she laughed at the terrible idea.

It freaked her out though.

"You can sing?" Serena looks like she has a sweet voice.

"No, not at all," she laughed. "But I thought it might be a nice change if someone sang to you. But I really shouldn't be the one to do it, not unless you want me to," she blushed. She wasn't a horrible singer, of course, but no, she was not anything to take note of.
