What: You know what sucks? Everything about the last festival-- especially all the chaos and running. You know what's probably a good idea? Ignoring all of that and having a party. On a yacht.

Where: The bay outside Vista City

((Luci just got a strange pay bump and she's using it to regroup after the intense clusterfuck at the last festival-- she's still not sure exactly what happened there, but even though it's probably significant, she'd rather celebrate like one usually does after a lot of work. By renting a yacht for a night. Like people usually do.))





((It's a nice boat. Plenty of food, a couple of bartenders, fire pits, couches, swimsuits for those who need, and music of course. The party is, of course, invite only to keep the paparazzi and gatecrashers and people looking to turn this into a work-venture out, but Luci's given the bouncer clearance to let friends of guests and anybody who seems interesting in-- she knows Luci's type.))

[There's nothing Minako loves more than a party on the water, sunshine out and bikinis on...except all of the above in a less stressful time. But beggars can't be choosers, so she'll use this opportunity to suit up and head out.

She can't afford to be recognized, so she's changed her hair to a light brown, braided up and capped with the old red bow...though that voice is definitely Di the diner lady's. She sports a classic black bikini with blue accents, and she takes her sips nice and slow---can't afford to lose her balance.

When someone approaches, she gives them a cheery wave.]

Hey stranger! Looking good.

Yes, she winks each time.

[Rei had attended this party basically just for the chance to see Minako in a swimsuit. She was in a red one piece, and had her hair braided up several times. Why not. It was nice, felt good, and...it was definitely a disguise.

Which may or may not have led to her girlfriend not knowing it was her, she couldn't say. Either way, she smirked and replied.]

I know.

[Mmm, lovely ladies in red...Minako was definitely into that. She grinned over at her new company.]

Confidence is incredibly attractive...has it worked for you yet?

[There should definitely be someone on this woman's arm.]

[Rei chuckled to herself, keeping her face turned away.]

I don't know. Is it working on you?

[Oh no, what should she say? She can't betray Rei...but lying would make this woman feel off, and it'd likely be noticed anyway...]

It really shouldn't....it's forbidden...

[But her red face says it all.]

[Rei smirked and turned partway around. Enough to show her face, mouth set into an amused smile.]

That isn't what you were saying last night...

[Her face turned bright red.]

Oh, you---you! I was so worried you were someone else...

But of course you're not. Only my Rei-chan.

[Rei leaned in close, kissing Minako gently on the mouth.]

You can't get the flirtation out of your system, can you?

It is my system. But you knew that already, didn't you?

[She's all cheerful smiles, but she's close enough that it's clear she's still interested in claiming her territory.

I think so. Of course, I have no intention of letting you off the hook so easily. I'm a little possessive, you know.

[She flashes a smile.]

I'd like a drink, if you don't mind. Penance for not recognizing me on sight.

[She pouts a little, curling a lock of Rei's hair around a finger.]

How hard do you want it?

Hah. [That question could go so many ways.]

Give me something with a little kick.

[Minako soon returns with a favorite red cocktail: the cosmopolitan. She nudges that little lime slice proudly as she passes it over.]

And all this over the sea waves too...you're brave.

[And Rei will take it, holding it up to her partner in crime in toast.]

I try. But I have a feeling you'd catch me if I fell.

Minako clinks her glass, downing a separate orange cocktail. It's good...a little too good, and she finds herself swaying to the side a little.

Okay, but don't go overboard, got it? I'm not that great a swimmer...just look good in the suit.

OF course. But you need to be just as careful...

Sure I will! I love playing mermaid, but not in these waters...

She twirls her hair around her finger, gazing up at the sky in thought.

But when we have a nice beach day, remind me!
