006 ┼ I'm Finding Me Out, I'm Having My Doubts, I'm Losing the Best of Me
Who: Luci & YOU
What: You know what sucks? Everything about the last festival-- especially all the chaos and running. You know what's probably a good idea? Ignoring all of that and having a party. On a yacht.
When: May 20th
Where: The bay outside Vista City
Warnings:IT'S A CARNIVAL CRUISE...!
((Luci just got a strange pay bump and she's using it to regroup after the intense clusterfuck at the last festival-- she's still not sure exactly what happened there, but even though it's probably significant, she'd rather celebrate like one usually does after a lot of work. By renting a yacht for a night. Like people usually do.))

((It's a nice boat. Plenty of food, a couple of bartenders, fire pits, couches, swimsuits for those who need, and music of course. The party is, of course, invite only to keep the paparazzi and gatecrashers and people looking to turn this into a work-venture out, but Luci's given the bouncer clearance to let friends of guests and anybody who seems interesting in-- she knows Luci's type.))
((Try not to get too blitzed and fall overboard!))

Oh! [A little laugh.] The tattoos, right? They're pretty intense if you haven't seen them before.
I'm Dino Cavallone . Hue & Cry?
no subject
[Yamamoto's eyes travel down the tattoos, and he nods absently. Noticing more than just the tattoos. ]
Not just the tattoos, but yeah. They're really cool. I'm planning on getting some later.
Oh, okay, I recognize you now. [He smiles, a bit sheepish] I'm more a fan of Surviving Friday though.
no subject
[Settling down deep in the water, almost up to his neck, he lets his arms float up, watching his hands before turning to look his new companion over again. Really, seriously not bad. He needs to control his impulses today.]
How do you know the host?
no subject
[Which he had hot-wired, but hey, he planned on giving it back later.
He watches Dino, noticing the way the Cavallone boss is looking at him and... wow, Dino never looked at him like that before. Probably because he was a member of Tsuna's Famiglia, and Dino didn't want to seem like he was poaching from his younger brother.]
no subject
Seriously... one up on the pros. I'd say they were right, though. You might be interesting. I already know what you do and what kind of music to listen to... do you drink?
no subject
I uh.
[He took a breath and calmed down. This was no time to lose his head over compliments. Girls complimented him all the time. Why is now any different?]
Well, you're pretty hot too.
[Oh, crap]
I drink a little. Not too much.
no subject
Well, do you want one? They've been coming by pretty regularly.
no subject
Yeah. Something that's not really strong though.
[He had to keep his wits about him. And he wasn't really doing a good job being distracted by Dino.]
no subject
Beer?
[He makes a face.]
Maybe people call mixed drinks "girly", but they go down a lot easier. Beer, though... I'm not a fan.
[He waves over one of the servers and gives him some instructions. The woman leaves, and comes back shortly with a mojito and a glass of wine.]
Your choice.
no subject
I'll take the wine.
[He takes the glass and puts it to his lips, taking a sip. And oh, that's... Well, not terrible, but not great. He manages to not make a face]
Thank you.
no subject
[Dino raises his glass and moves a little closer, just close enough to clink the glasses together. Only he stays that close for a few moments.]
Having fun, though? The host knows how to throw a good party, obviously.
no subject
Cheers
[He then takes another sip. This time it's a bit more palatable.]
They do. But I don't know who the host is actually.
no subject
No? She's something else. I can introduce you later, if you want. Unless you're busy. You know. I don't want to hoard your time or anything.
no subject
I don't have any definite plans, but I do like the present company.
[He hasn't found anyone else that he knows. He figured he wouldn't find Tsuna here; he's sorta hoping to run into Squalo, but right now Dino has his full attention.]
no subject
[Dino seems to perk up a bit. He's eager to please people lately, and more eager for attention to keep him from thinking about certain occurrences. It's best if he distracts himself. If the company is attractive, by far more's the better.]
Well, let's talk for a little while then. Are you from around here?
no subject
[He relaxed into the hot water and turned so he could look at Dino properly. And maybe check out his tattoos some more. He always did like Dino's tattoos.]
It's a decent size, but nowhere near as big as Vista.
no subject
[The name sent a weird chill through Dino, whose eyes flashed with recognition that quickly cleared as she shook his head.]
I think I've heard of it, but I've never been there. Is it nice?
no subject
[He tilted his head at Dino, good, the man was starting to remember]
It's full of energy! A lot of boisterous people. The head of the middle school disciplinary committee tries to keep it orderly, but he has a hard time since he's one of those boisterous people, though he's quieter about it. He just likes the chance to go crack crack with his tonfas.
no subject
Sounds... uh, nice!
no subject
Yeah, lots of good memories.
What about you? Where did you come from originally?
no subject
[He smiled, trying not to look uncomfortable. There was a deep hurt that surfaced now when he thought of home. When he thought of the lies and deceit and the possibility that everything was a lie.]
In Italy.
no subject
[He smiled softly, remembering going to the Cavallone Manor with Dino]
Stayed with a friend at his place. It was so big! And he took me so many places. I can't wait to go back.
no subject
[Fake happiness. Fake smile. Dino wants to change the subject so badly.]
I hope we get to go there on tour or something.
no subject
What to change the subject to?
Man, Dino's tattoos were so distracting...]
How many tattoos do you have?
no subject
It depends on what you count as one, and what you count as separate.
[Glancing around to make sure no one was coming, he stood. He wasn't that far from his companion here, so it might've been a little shocking when he pulled down the front of his swimming trunks somewhat to show where the very bottom edge of his tattoo curled, right above his groin.]
This is the biggest one. [The length of his side, and down.] I've been thinking about getting more.
