Not the reunion you were expecting [closed]

Who: Eiji and Rei
What: Rei thinking he's found a friend, when it's just a stranger with a familiar face
When: A few days after the final four arrive
Where: Near the cafe where Eiji works
Warnings: Probably nothing unless I need to warn for ridiculous

Rei hasn't been here long. He's met a few people, and learned a few things, but ultimately he's still gaining his bearings. He doesn't seem quite as out of place here as he always did back home... traveling around in a dimension hopping spaceship will probably do that. But at the same time, nothing's familiar. On one hand, that makes it interesting, and Ken in particular has been having a field day studying all the new technology they've been running across. On the other...

"...Uncle??!" There's an excited shout and his eyes go wide as he happens to catch sight of a familiar face. About a second later, here will be a stranger with a likewise familiar face bounding toward Eiji like an overly enthusiastic puppy. That calms down a bit as he gets closer; in fact, his entire manner changes all of a sudden to something that would be reminiscent of Ankh. Between the way he was acting a second ago and the fact that he is presently slinging an arm over Eiji's shoulder, that is probably more than a little odd.

"Why didn't you tell me you'd be here?" He asks, as if Tomoki would have had a chance to tell him anything if this was the first time they were running into each other.

When he exited the cafe having finally gotten off of his shift, the last thing he had been expecting was someone coming up to him and slinging an arm around his shoulder. Eiji's first thought upon seeing the person's face was that it was Ankh, because as far as he knew Shingo was still trapped in Virgo.

"Eh?"

Something was definitely off here. For all of how this person had the same face as Ankh and Shingo (though the hairstyle was very much different from the other two) the personality shift from almost an excited child to one resembling Ankh without Ankh's distinctive quirks was jarring.

"I... I'm sorry, who are you?"
