There's a sign that was put all over Vrigo HQ. It's made in Photoshop and is Very Simple (Kise has no artistic talent whatsoever).  Blue, with a picture of a basketball imprinted with the Virgo Unicorn in the center, white lettering above the basketball reads; "VIRGO ENTERTAINMENT CHARITY BASKETBALL EVENT".  Under the ball states that it's company wide event, and everyone's invited to apply, and you're interested please contact Ryouta Kise at either his e-mail at R.Kise@virgoentertainment.vgo or to call him at 1-555-877-6487. Ryouta doesn't really understand minimalist, but he goes with it. He's not really a fine arts person.

"'Bout and hour or so." He turns and tapes the poster up.

"Do you need an extra hand? I mean..." Luce glances around. "HQ is a pretty big place. And I've gotten to know quite a few people about here."

It'd give her something to do inbetween practice sessions, besides.

Ryouta beamed at her.

"Yeah! That'd be great!"

He handed her half of what he had left.

"Do you think people will sign up?"

"I don't see why not!" Tucking the papers beneath one arm, she reaches up to pat his head.

It... takes a bit of reaching.

"After all, it's quite the popular sport, right?"

"Hmmm, I don't know. What if everyone thinks it'll only take away from their practicing?"

He leans down to let her pat. He's aware he's very tall.

"Oh! that reminds me! Xanxus is going to take me to a game on the 30th!"

"Well, December is certainly a holiday month. We'll probably get some sort of break."

That seems like the logical thing to Luce, at any rate.

The news about Kise's dating life has her raise an eyebrow, intrigued. "Really? Quite the gentleman of him." Immediately, however, there's a slight crinkle between her brow. "Ah, but you'll have to be careful... Paparazzi, dear. You can get away with a little disguise, but Xanxus is still rather... noticeable."

"That's an understatement," Ryouta said. But he gives a shrug. "He wouldn't be Xanxus if he wasn't noticeable."

He smiles softly. Kid's got it bad for the asshole.

"Just make sure not to tip off the paparazzi or get arrested by the police."

Oh. And one more thing, just in case. It can't hurt to say, hm?

"Don't forget a condom either."

Ryouta sputtered.

"L-Luce!" He hid his face behind the posters.

"I'll try to keep him from getting arrested." It's Xanxus, so there's no promises. He'll do his best to make sure he doesn't get arrested, though.

"Just sound advice, dear." Luce smiles up to him, amused. "I know how... forgetful it is to be at your age while in a relationship."

Pausing to put up a poster, she chuckles a bit. "And just watch after yourself- I'm sure Xanxus is more than aware of what he can do or drag himself into."

"We're, um, just, well, you know."

He nods and hands her some tape.

"Xanxus is Xanxus. But he's never been crazy around me. In fact, he's been nothing but sweet."

[giglio_madonna]

"Really?" Luce hums thoughtfully as she tapes the poster carefully. That's something to hear.

"Well, I suppose even someone like Xanxus wants to make a good first impression..."

"Well," Kise said with a blush forming. "Sweet being relative, and all. Maybe... Charming is a better term."

Xanxus sweeping him off his feet and grinding against him on the dance floor before suggesting that they go to another place to bang isn't exactly sweet.

[giglio_madonna]

"I see..." Finishing up with the poster, Luce steps away and pats Kise's arm. "Well, just be careful. You know what they say about bad boy charmers."

It wouldn't do to have Kise end up in the arms of some sort of playboy or the like. Still, she can only give him advice. It's his choices in the end.

"I'll be fine. I mean, it's not like I'm expecting us to be exclusive or anything."

Nor does he really want to be exclusive, to be honest. He has it bad for Xanxus, sure, but he also...

"Hey, Luce, can I ask you a question?"

She's pretty much the closet to a parent figure available so she's probably the best to ask. "It's not weird to be like more than one person at once, is it?"

Now isn't that a question. Luce taps her chin as she thinks about it. Really, the answer comes to her easier than she was expecting.

"Well, I don't see why it would be weird. I mean... We like more than one friend, don't we? We love more than one family member, or, at least, we can. I don't see why that wouldn't go along for romance as well, really."

"Oh," Kise's quiet for awhile. Shuffling the posters as he absorbs what Luce said.

On one hand, it's surprising that she said it, because she was almost a nun, but at the same time she didn't become one.

"I like Xanxus a lot, but there's someone else I like too."

"That isn't too unusual, you know." Keeping up her pace, she adjusts her own load to pat him on the arm.

"Especially at your age." Ah, to be young. "May I ask who it is?"

"Um... Sora."

What was it with him and Pride boys?

Well, that's a much better choice in cute boys. Luce gives a small hum, eyes crinkling as she smiles.

"You know, me and Sora are friends too."

"Sora's friends with everyone," Ryouta pointed out. "And so are you for that matter."

Playing at a huff, she smacks at his arm with the posters. "Hush. We're just extroverted."

"I'm extroverted, you guys are just..." he paused thinking. "You're... open."

He put up another poster. "You know, you both have names that really fit you guys. Your name means light, which touches everything, and his is sky, which is similar."

"Open?" Certainly a new word, and she pauses to let him continue on with that train of thought. The connection of their names is a new one, and she laughs slightly. "Well, it's good we were named appropriately, then! You know what they say about the sky-"

A row of paintings, all men with their eyes staring straight forward. There are seven of them, but she is focused on the first and second. They are cousins, this much she knows, but they look nothing alike. It's in more than appearances- the windswept wildness of the first's golden hair, the carefully made up dark spikes to the second's- and in their eyes.

The first is tired. Perhaps it is just her imagination, but that is the impression she gets as she looks up at him. Tired and solemn, like he has seen more than enough to weigh down his shoulders. His cousin holds no such things in his gaze. All the men in the paintings look straight ahead, but this man is truly looking forward- ambitious and determined for better or worse.

Yet at their core, were they not a similar type? Her mother's words- she's sure it was her mother who told her this- echo in her head.

Luce blinks out of the vision and laughs softly at herself. "It understands and accepts all of them," she murmurs before looking up to smile at Kise. "Sorry, I was just thinking of an old saying."

Is that true? It feels true. Old, at any rate.

"Must be," Ryouta said after a moment. "I've never heard of it though."

He cocked his head. "Are you okay?"
