[He's had a busy week, between interviews, promo gigs and just trying to get a little time to himself to actually go out and be a teenager between work. Thankfully, today is a day that he can have some time to himself, so he flips his cellphone out to text a certain black-haired beauty that he'd been thinking about for the last few weeks.

He brings her up in his contact list, and starts texting as one would expect a normal high school girl to text their friends.]

hey u free today? got sum tiem off was wondering if i could take u out 2 have some fun weather is gunna b gr8! u still wanna hit the zoo up?

[By contrast, Rei's week was more practice and group interviews and photo ops than anything private but...she's been just as busy. The odd text when she's had a moment has been a nice surprise. Truth be told she was looking forward to seeing him again. Especially after the teasing Luce had given her.

Also in stark contrast is her texting. Formal. Like an English teacher.]

I would love to. I'm free all afternoon and evening in fact. Today and tomorrow. Which works best for you?

[He grins, happy to see that he's lucky enough to catch her at a time where they're both free for a change. He texts back quickly:]

today works u wanna meet me somwhere away from our dum studios?

[Oh! Well then! Her response is quick too.]

Absolutely. How about the metro stop for the central park? We can walk from there.

ill b there in 5! dont b late!

[Even now, he's grabbing his jacket and sunglasses, to head out to the metro stop. He can text and walk. Thankfully the metro stop is busy enough that he doesn't stand out, though his hair isn't helping matter with as unique as it is.]

[Rei actually takes a little time to disguise herself, putting on a much more casual jacket, a brown bomber that she'd bought just for this. She also forgoes makeup, which she only bothers with for shows anyway. There aren't any cameras...and she puts on a set of mirror-shades and slips out.]

I'll be there in ten more minutes. Sorry, the penthouse is further out.

[He texts back quickly:]

[Eager is he?

Well, she arrives pretty much as she said she would. And texts out...]

Where are you? I'll come to you. Maybe the big fountain?

k ill head there now got a white jacket on w glasses u cant miss me

[He trots over to the fountain, looking around for her. There's a lot of people, so it's hard to see her.]

[She doesn't bother to reply. She's already seen him, because she'd hopped up onto the lip of the fountain to look around. Being short was troublesome, sometimes. But not now. She grins and waves quickly before jumping down and somehow managing to glide over to him.]

There you are. I was wondering how hard spotting you was going to be.

[She looks up at him and offers her hand.]

Do you recognize me in this?

[He looks up in surprise, to see someone waving- and then approaching him. He blinks, and studies her before she speaks. It's Rei, there's no doubt about it. He takes her hand, cupping it in his own to grin down at her. That was a good disguise.]

No, barely at all! You really went the nine yards for this one.

Did I? It's just a jacket and glasses.

[But she returns the smile and squeezes his hand all the same.]

I'm glad to see you. Things got so busy all of a sudden! I wasn't expecting it.

Yeah, no kidding. I thought we were supposed to have a break here! But instead they still are working us to the bone.

[Despite complaining, he's a little giddy. It's embarrassing, but just getting to hold her hand was a little exciting for him.]

But now! My cellphone is off. [He uses his free hand to take out his phone, and turns it off- so they can't be interrupted.]

Well, I expected a bit more work, but certainly not this much.

[She plucks out her own phone and makes a show of cutting it off as well, complete with a dramatic click of a finger against the power button.]

If they happen to need me, then they can come find me the old fashioned way. [Her fingers curl around his.] Because I've been looking forward to getting out again.

[There's a pause and she smiles awkwardly.]

Sorry, about how suddenly we had to depart last time. I discussed that woman's manners with my manager, and she's been reassigned to a different department.

Woah! [He seems surprised at that.] You actually got her reassigned? I didn't think we could really do anything about that.

[But Pride works a little differently.]

Makes me wish I coulda done something about that...what that lady said was seriously uncalled for.

She manhandled me.

[Rei's smirk could cut glass. The fact of the matter was that the woman embarrassed her, and legitimately hurt her hand a bit. Virgo did look out for it's talent.]

And it's alright. Really, it all worked out in the end or we wouldn't be here, ne?

[His laugh is giddy- she's right. He grins like an idiot to match, leading her now to head to the zoo.]

Yep! Like they were going to stop us anyway. Hey, it's a weekday, so the lines shouldn't be that long. Kinda nice that it's just a few blocks away or so. I...can't really remember how it was the last time I went.

[Those memories were like a fog, but he didn't care to think on it too hard.]

Right, yes. Absolutely.

[Happily, Rei follows along, quite happy with this turn of events. Yes it resulted in teasing, and would result in more, but at the same time? Luce had been right. This was already fun, and she was already enjoying herself. Granted, she would be happy just getting out on her own for a bit and going to the zoo, but she really wanted this date, too...]

And even if it was crowded, would that be so bad?

[She rather pointedly squeezes the hand she's holding at that.]

Uhhhh...

[He's not sure how to read into that hand squeeze. There's no way she'd mean it the way he thought she meant it, right? It's the first date, pretty much.]

No, I guess not. It's not like a shit ton of people would stop us from having a good day. It would hide us better, totally.

[It's a hand squeeze. That's all. She likes you, idiot.]

That's true enough. Though, not so loud, or people will start wondering what it is we're hiding.

[She grins and elbows him a little bit.]

How's work been?

[He's such an idiot.]

Work? Oh, right. [His mind had wandered off for a minute. Shhhh.]

You know, the youzhe. Interviews and gigs up the ass. We're about to release a new album, so the press have been all over us. I haven't had time to do much of anything. Some break, huh?

[He is, but he's sweet.]

Yeah, I guess. We're about to put out something new too, and they've been crawling all over the place to get a look at us. I spent most of yesterday doing a photoshoot. It was...sigh...taxing.

[She trails off for a second, before...]

I listened to most of your discography last week. You guys are pretty good. Boybands aren't really my thing, but still, you all have a voice.

[Secretly, deep down, he wishes he were at that photoshoot. So what if it wasn't anything scandalous? He still wishes he were there.]

Sounds rough. Uh, the photoshoot, that is. [Not trying to make his music sound bad!]

You seriously went through most of our music? I mean, we are pretty good! But dang, I haven't even gotten through half of your guys's! Thanks! [It was nice to hear from someone who's just as good as they are that they were good.]

[Well she's going to give him a signed copy at some point...]

It wasn't so awful, just...lots of changing outfits and posing with Pao-Lin and Ivan and our 'parents.'

[She has to laugh a bit, nodding animatedly]

It doesn't help that our songs are double the length at times, I'm sure. But I have your stuff on my iPod for travel between shoots and gigs. It's nice having some other thing to listen to, it gives me a fresh perspective on my own music.

It's always great to hear that we have some influence on another artist-! But...I guess I better step up my game then. [She's leaving him in the dust as far as that's concerned, so he makes a mental note to listen to all of their tracks later.]

Oh, hey, there's the entrance. But I already took care of things just in case it was going to be busy-! [He sticks a hand in his pocket, and two passes emerge from it. He'd gotten them ahead of time to avoid the line.]

One for you, ma'dam! [He ceremoniously presents Rei her pass, even bowing a little bit as if she were royalty.]

Well, new perspectives, new ideas. New notes at least.

[She beams, and then looks at the line. Ugh...that's going to be a...

Oh. Well...she will just accept that ticket and grin now, offering a curtsy as she accepts it.]
