A little while after the disaster at Naomi's, those who had attended might find themselves approached- by Luce on Virgo's side, by Luci on Pride's, or perhaps by someone who had heard about it from either of them. The subject of conversation?

Another party. One that involves another mingle of both labels, without being used for any ulterior motives.

Those who seem up to it are given a time and place. Blue Heist is one of the clubs around town that has what could be called a "basement level", for private renting and parties available to anyone who has the cash to spend on it. It's a pretty simple set up, nothing extravagant like the party at Naomi's... Which is absolutely on purpose, let no one tell you otherwise. There's a reason any mics or karaoke equipment has been pointedly removed. All the music is on the system already.

Nope, tonight it's just dancing and drinking, with a couple of rooms to the side that have cheesy movies playing in case you're tired out. No closed doors, no poison at the bar, no murder.

And if you want to take a moment to maybe have a talk to someone on the opposite label to discuss or apologize for the events of the prior night... That's fine too.

Just be careful. Both labels are still under watch, it seems, with a few bodyguards from both sides around the perimeter here and there.

[ Oddly enough, this is something that anyone can play because they don't actually play. They're just going along for a ride. ]

[ He wants it to be memorable but not overdone. He also has a limit of how long it could be. That monster catching game with the electric rodent could work.

Are you familiar with the game that has an electric rodent as a mascot?

[That was a game that seemed pretty memorable to her, anyway. She wasn't super good with games but she did watch when Ivan and Yosuke played some.]

Maybe the background music at spooky town with the huge tower?

[ He could make the entire level spooky and full of ghosts and bones... Are there flowers? Wait, the chomping ones! ]

You mean the one Pao-Lin...thought was scary?

Yeah, and the fighters in that tower are rude. Who wants to battle as they're mourning love ones?

[ There are some things you just don't do. ]

That's true. It's almost sacrilegious.

So, the first thing I'll need to do is to find a score of the music.

[ He could do it by ear by listing to it over and over, but nobody's got time for that. The internet can do the work for him. ]

[She's already searching for that on her phone, and calling it up for him.]

[ That is very helpful! He starts to get to work placing the notes on the stage, not worrying too much about getting the timing right just yet. ]

What do you think I should use as the stage backdrop? Should I capitalize on the spooky nature, or should I emphasize more flowers?

Go with the spooky. I think it's more appropriate.

[ He looks for the haunted house backdrop and chooses the flooring and blocks to match. He quickly starts to set up the music boxes for the tune. ]

Ready to hear the first pass?

Oh! Yes, sure.

[Sitting up, she watches the screen pretty eagerly.]

[ Ivan sets Cerio at the start and gets ready to have him run through the stage. The notes are all there, maybe, but the rhythm and timing is all off. ]

Ah...

[ He was silly to think it was that easy to make a music stage. ]

Well...maybe you just need to tweak it in a few places?

It does need work... Maybe I can concentrate on the first part and get an idea of what kind of spacing is needed for the notes...

[ Too bad there isn't a backdrop that can make placement easy, like a music sheet background. ]

That's probably a good idea. Maybe start with the first few bars? I saw a few places the timing looked a second or two off.

[ It's all right. She doesn't have to coddle him, not for this. This is music in a different form. Ivan feels that itch to do it right and do it well. It's a welcome change of focus from everything else buzzing in his head day and night. ]

Okay. Maybe...three or four. Just, the first few bars at first. Start small.

[ He starts making the necessary adjustments, replaying the first part over and over until it starts to sound more like the background music. ]

What do you think of this first section up to this line of flower enemies?

I think that sounds right. A little chiptunes-y but that's the nature of the game.

[A beat.]

Tweak the timing on the first three notes, a half second faster.

[ He makes a few tweaks and plays the first part over and over. ]

How is it now?

[ He plans on keeping track of the areas he's finished with by "decorating" them with other elements of the game. ]

[She nods along with it, happily swinging her pointer finger in time with the beat.]
