☆A little little fun
Who: Those who signed up to perform, and anyone else
What: The Double S Charity Concert is go!
When: January 24th throughout the day
Where: Archer Park
Warnings: None planned
☆A Little Little Fun

On the morning of the 24th, the sun rises over Vista City and, more importantly, Archer Park- a series of rooftop parks connected to each other by bridges and overflowing greenery of all sorts. It's a popular on most days to start with. Today, however, is the day of the Double S Charity Concert. Thus, it's more packed than usual.
One of the park "islands" is home to a concert stage, and that is where the concert is taking place. All throughout the next couple of days, various musicians will perform songs they've written about or dedicated to another in the industry. With the entertainment value of the idea and the fame of the musicians, of course the place is packed.
The stage is where every musician will end up at throughout the day, performing for the masses, but behind it is also a rest area for them to either bide their time or just hang out. It's supposed to be restricted to just those musicians participating, but frankly... security is lax just enough that bandmates and the such could duck on in to see their friends. No fans, however, sorry. It's not the most impressive of places, with seating areas and a salad bar and all the pizza that could possibly be ordered, but hopefully it's good enough. This is also where one can find event organizer Jenny around, in case they need to bring anything up.
Of course, no one is required to stay back there while waiting their turn, or after they've done their performance. Attempts to raise money go beyond just the concert. Double S has all sorts of stalls set up, whether to explain to people the various causes they can specifically pledge support to, or to sell merchandise. Can't forget the food stalls. There is, of course, a stall showing adoptable animals. There always is.
Finally, there's one last thing Double S has set up for any willing celebrities. It's a meet-and-greet area for the fans, where they have the chance to meet their favorite musicians. Giving out autographs, taking pictures with fans... There's even a karaoke set up for everyone to use. Musicians can sing solo, or with others from their label, or even with a lucky fan.AKA feel free to get NPC MP here. Hopefully, it'll get some good publicity for those interested in that kind of thing.
Tickets have been made astonishingly cheap in the hopes that more people will show, with anything else being made up by merchandise sales or donations.

Sans only sort of manages to observe what Haru is doing, but it's enough to see that Artolo is down and the knife is...somewhere. By the time she gets over to him, Sans is already starting to shrug the whole thing off. Mentally, of course. Physically he's still bleeding from the face and he can barely move the fingers of his right hand.
He's easy enough to start picking up, even with his lack of coordination. He's managing to help out with the effort too, despite his own rapidly escalating lethargy.]
Hey kiddo. Caught us red handed, huh?
[He clumsily taps at her bloodied fingers with his good hand as she manages to get him to his feet. And then, there's some cheese flying at them. Okay.]
Looks like...this is our cue to cheddar on out of here, huh? [He blearily considers that for a moment.] Wait, wait...I can do better than that one.
[He's so going to fall over again at this rate. He is going to keep rambling the whole way.]
no subject
She notices Sans is having trouble with one arms and stays on his opposite side, arms hooked around him, holding him up. His joke brings a half-laugh half-sob out of her throat.}
I sure did. Now come on, let me get you out of here and patched up before we get in real trouble.
{She huffs and pulls him quicker towards the exit, glaring daggers at anyone who dares get in their way.}
Think of a better one while putting one foot in front of the other please.
no subject
They manage to scramble away before the group reacting to the stabbing has a chance to start figuring out who did. Not long after that, the security team would start shutting things down in the area to keep things discrete.
Things are emptier out back - mostly a bunch of trucks and trailers for bringing along each performer's stuff. It won't take long to slip somewhere out of the way, and Sans will take the earliest opportunity to plop down onto his butt, mopping at his nose with his hoodie sleeve.]
Showbiz, huh.
no subject
Paranoid she takes off her heels. The rest of her clothing is bloody and ruined she might as well use them as an impromptu weapon is necessary. Art has bandmates too, after all.
When she can't stand it anymore she stops peeking around corners and goes back to hovering over Sans directly, a heel in one hand and the other hovering over his injuries, not quite daring to inspect them without his permission.}
What did he do to your arm? How bad is your head?
no subject
Welp. Not broken, at least. Gunna have a nasty bruise, but nose scents in worrying about it now, heheheh.
[His chortle is sort of muffled by the blood still in his nose. He reaches over and gingerly touches his arm, hidden beneath the fabric of his sleeve. He winces before he can stop himself, and then frowns.]
He bit me! As in, with his teeth.
[There is no reason at all that someone biting you through a shirt should hurt as much as this does. Are his bones really so fragile that someone could crunch them in their jaw so trivially?
Nausea is already rising in the back of his neck.]
no subject
Can I check it out? And your head? Did you hit it hard when you went down?
{Her fingers pause with barely a paper's width of space between her fingers and the cuff of his sleeve. She's trying to remember his preferences for contact and not make this worse for him, but she knows people lie and slough off their injuries when they really shouldn't.
She feels like she's got practice tracking them down to scold them.}
There's no hole in your sleeve--but you seem to be in a lot of pain, the way you're favoring it-
no subject
He doesn't move or tell her to get away from him. But he purposefully hasn't given consent, either, his gaze lingering on the ground in front of them. He can't lie, it does hurt a lot. He doesn't really know what there is to do about it, though.]
The thing with that? It's all gotten sort of complicated. Not sure if it's really your thing...
[He doesn't want to have to make the decision to show her or not. That would mean that everything that follows because of it is his responsibility - his fault. He doesn't like that. He'd rather just stick it out himself.]
no subject
It worries her even more that he's hesitating to pick a direction, to let her help or to send her away.}
Sans--I don't care how complicated it is. You're my bandmate, sure, but more importantly, you're my friend. I don't have many of those, so I can do whatever you need me to do for you, okay?
{She takes a deep breath and gingerly touches her fingers to the bloody edge of his hoodie sleeve.}
Give me the chance to decide if it's my thing or not.
no subject
Don't say I didn't warn you.
[He rests a blunt between his lips while he fishes out a lighter one handed. The sleeve is hers to pull.]
no subject
She's expecting warm soft flesh, maybe a little sweaty or with teeth marks, but instead she's met with something much slimmer than the bulk of his sweatshirt would suggest. His arm is nothing but bone. She can see the cracks where it's been broken.}
M-Medical tape. And maybe a couple of m-my mallets from my b-bag.For a sp-splint.
{She stutters trying to come to terms, trying to think of him and how to help him, but her mind spins.Her fingers tremble more the longer she stares at that thin expanse of white, almost vibrating where his wrist comes together to meet more bones disappearing into his gloves.
Who did this to him? How could they strip him of his flesh and muscle?! She's furious. There's a choking feeling in her chest. All she can think of is coffins in the forest and finishing a cigarette while a silver haired man sobs on her shoulder. A girl with one eye and a sly smile.
There's no disgust in her voice, only a quiet simmering rage.}
Who did this to you? Ho-How dare they hurt you!
{She feels helpless. Utterly helpless looking at her friend's broken bones exposed to the world when they should be kept safely inside many more layers of him. She wishes she's plunged that cheese knife back into Art. She wishes she wasn't such a ridiculous girl with nothing to fight back against the people hunting them down. Who is hunting them down?
It doesn't matter. They can't have him. She won't let them.}
no subject
But now she's practically crying with rage because of his stupid arms, and he just doesn't know what to do with it. Even he doesn't feel that alarmed about it. It's just something he has to deal with now, he thinks. Just another thing trying to get in his way, to stop him from making it to the end.
She's freaking out for the wrong reasons, though, and he has to set that straight.]
Slow down, kid. Nobody...well, nobody hurt me to make them like this. It...just kind of crumbled under the pressure, is all.
[He clasps his other hand around his wrist, trying to hold his arm still.]
Nobody can know about this, Haru. Trust me.
no subject
Her face crumples in relief at his words, and she does tear up, reaching for her face to wipe her tears, only to stop nearly there realizing her hands are still bloody.
She shakes herself then, pulling it together.}
That's good, I'm glad no one--We'll have to figure out what happened. If you want to talk about it.
{It was obvious he could still feel even without nerves of any kind because he was obviously in pain over the break when they were trying to leave the performers' area.
She breathes in and out.}
I won't tell anyone. You can trust me.
{She bites her lip.}
I'm afraid of the way Bolin disappeared. I feel like--{She shakes her head again.} It doesn't matter.
How are you feeling? Can you stay upright and conscious long enough for me to get supplies to bind your arm?
no subject
He sympathizes about Bolin. His personal reaction to it at the time had been weird, but he can appreciate what it represents to everyone. They're all on the chopping block, and they know it. After a long moment, he nods soberly.]
Yeah. Knock yourself out. [He goes back to his blunt, and takes a puff.] Never had to treat these things before.
no subject
She's not gone long, barely a few moments before she's back at his side, carefully laying everything out next to him. She licks her lip, bites it and hesitantly approaches something she's only discussed in vague what-ifs and half conversations.}
Do you have strange dreams? Or hallucinations? Of other people--of places you can't quite name?
{She wonders if Sans is the right person to talk to about it considering his drug use, but that might make him the best to ask. He might know the difference between drug induced things and whatever the hell it was she was having when she was sober.}
