Punk is not dead
Who: Xanxus, Sabo and YOU
What: Sabo insulted punk, so now they're haivng a little music battle
When: 3 Feb
Where: Club VorTeQ
Warnings: Xanxus warnings apply, more as added.
It's time. The infamous little punk club is filled to the brim with curious fans. Ever since that little twit-fit, the club has been really playing up the upcoming battle between Sabo and Xanxus. There are posters and special drinks, themed for each musician.
The stage is set up for the two, with everything they need. The bar is active and the club is hopping. While this isn't a legitimate contest like the Song Contest, there's something more on the line here. The pride of punk music.

[He'll tilt his head, taking this in and nodding slowly, taking it in.] Mmmm, that is an interesting angle, though there again, the Watchers came from a cold and rational place, and the humans offered them warmth and color and emotion in all its shades. It was... a cultural and emotional exchange, by all accounts.
It could well be an allegory, that these entities were, in fact, merely a symbol of the wisdom that lies within us all, waiting to be tapped into, if we simply listen to it has to tell us.
For someone who claims not to be a philosopher, you have some deep notions. [Replying to that sheepish grin with a reassuring smirk of his own.]

Haha well I just think a lot. The wisdom that lies in us all... [he offers a smile up at the ceiling] I like that a lot. But I wonder if it's an allegory too not to get too wrapped up in knowing everything that you forget what's really important.

[but he doesn't want to get morose so he won't. Just will drain his juice.]
But I guess it was inevitable.

If you need to unburden after a tiring performance, I've an open ear or two to listen. [Leaning closer companionably.]

[don't mind him. It seems he is getting a little morose in his juice after all]

You sound a bit wrung out after the performance, if you ask me, and that's all right to feel: I've been there myself, after an especially tiring show.

Why do you have trouble? Do you know?

Something about juxtaposition. Expectation. [he gets an almost dreamy look as he imagines it, tapping a beat on the table with his fingers] What do you think?

Juxtaposition... indeed: we think of angels as complicated beings since they are greater and more powerful, and yet they are, in fact, less complex: their emotions work differently from ours and their thinking process is less cluttered.
