The return to life as they know it is swift thanks to Mr. Patil, but they still have time to get up to a whole new set of shenanigans...

[Maxxie returns the brofist with an amused smile, shaking his head as his humour comes back right away. He raises an eyebrow at Jamie.]

So, you won't be weird if he comes over to hang out with me?

[That gets Maxxie an "are you kidding?" look.]

What? No. We're cool. We got past the whole trying to punch each other thing, like, months ago.

I can't even really remember. It was during lockdown, though.

[Maxxie's expression is the long-suffering one of someone who has a feeling he's getting into something weird and is far too familiar with it.]

[Jamie holds up his hands in what he intends to be a reassuring manner.]

But like I said, we're way past that now. We're like - I dunno if we're buds or anything, but we're cool. I won't start any fights or stuff like that. And I'll try not to be weird. Weirder than usual, I mean.

[He's trying okay. He kind of sucks at this whole "not making your friends' important life milestones into an awkward mess" thing, but he's trying.]

[Maxxie nods, taking a bit of a deep breath and starting his path to accepting that his band is probably always going to be a bit weird about it.]
