Although the boys made it through the most recent series of unfortunate events at Pride Records mostly unscathed, they're still dealing with the aftereffects just like everyone else. The return to life as they know it is swift thanks to Mr. Patil, but they still have time to get up to a whole new set of shenanigans...

Of course, if you'd asked him specifics about the roles he acted in, or what friends he'd had prior to Flashstep, he wouldn't be able to say. There's a backstory that's been built in, but no actual memories of the events. But mostly he doesn't linger on that or consider how weird it is: the thought that it's weird has passed through his mind briefly a few times before, but that's it.

"Well, I like the you I've met so far, you're very kind, you know?" she smiled. "It's great though, you can speak through music in a way you almost can't in any other language."
no subject
"Thanks. I like you too, you're real helpful and nice." He takes the sunflower she'd given him and gently taps her head with it, grinning.
"Yeah! I really like that about music. You can make people feel things, and tell a story. I like performing the most though, and practice, because my band does a lot of dancing. Which is a lot like music 'cause you can tell a story with dance too!"
no subject
Well she had her own issues, they all did.
"What kind of dancing do you do?" she asked. She knew ballroom dancing, but nothing graceful or skilled.

He places the sunflower on top of his notebook. "As a band we mostly do hip-hop stuff, but I like other types of dancing too, like jazz, tap, and contemporary... I'm still learning couple dancing, like ballroom things. Do you like to dance?"
no subject
"Ballroom dancing is so much fun! If you ever need to practice let me know okay!" Usagi was actually very good at ballroom dancing, though she'd never actively acknowledge it. To her, she was good at it because Serenity had been good at it, but most of all because Mamoru made her good at it.
"Who do you usually practice dancing with, Sora? Your special someone?"

When she brings up his special someone, his cheeks go slightly pink, but he's grinning. "Yeah. Well, sort of? Uhm...."
He looks around them quickly, just to make sure there's not anyone clearly taping this or writing it down. Still, better safe than sorry, and having paparazzi stalking him and Jamie all the time once they found out would suck a lot, they wouldn't get to go anywhere together. So he leans over a just little so he can speak quietly and she'll still be able to hear it.
"He's in my band, so we do a lot of practice like... all of us together? And sometimes we get to do moves that are just the two of us together in performances and stuff. But outside of that, we haven't really. And I've never like... slow-danced with him or anything." Though the thought's admittedly pretty appealing.

"It wasn't love at first sight, though. I actually accidentally hit him in the head with a wadded up test," she laughed. "But we've been together ever since, he proposed when I was sixteen, though we're not going to get married until we're both done with college." Which, she knew she would have to go to much to her chagrin.
But she allowed herself to pull away from remembering Mamoru, because it would only become upsetting, knowing that she wouldn't get to be with him, that she was so terribly far from him...
"Ah, well, is he the sort to even want to do ballroom dancing?" she asked, since she knew that Sora's special someone didn't like overly romantic gestures... at least not yet.

He laughs with her too, as he can relate. Jamie hadn't immediately taken to him when they'd first met either, he was far more prickly back then. He'd warmed up to him fairly quickly, though.
"I think it's probably the love at first sight thing for some people, but then for others it's like... you get closer the more you talk to them and hang out with them. Gradual. Until it really hurts to think of being without them, because they've become a part of you." This is sort of just out-loud speculation, a bit of rambling before he focuses on her actual question.
"Huh, I don't really know. I mean, I think he might be embarrassed to do it in public but he's always like... It seems like he really likes to try new things with me? Because he's comfortable around me. So I bet he'd do it if I asked him, and he might like it too. I mean, I wouldn't make him keep doing it if he didn't." It's definitely something he's considering bringing up to him at some point now.

Endymion, prince of Earth, who smiled at the sight of her and who would sneak to the moon to see her too.
Mamoru.
Her precious Mamoru who held her tight and would press the softest kisses to her lips and skin and who still smelt of the oceans and meadows, but roses too. Who gave her strength and stood by her and guided her when she felt so confused.
Who loved her in a way that no one else ever could.
Who she missed so much she sometimes cried at night in Minako's arms because of how far she was from him, from him and from the other girls. Usagi suddenly inhaled and wiped at her eyes, trying not to let tears fall.
"You should ask him to try ballroom dancing with you," she offered, not wanting to talk about herself and her love.

Still, Sora reaches over and gives her shoulder a reassuring squeeze, and a smile.
"Yeah, I think I probably will... Hey, you want something to eat or drink or anything? I was thinking of heading over to the food court."
no subject
"I'm always up for food and drink!" she exclaimed grabbing his hand and squeezing it happily.
"I love food!" she had a bottomless stomach, truly.
no subject
"Alright, let's do that. My treat! Anything specific that you're hungry for or you wanna see what they've got?"
no subject
"All food is good food, so whatever you want to eat!"
