Although the boys made it through the most recent series of unfortunate events at Pride Records mostly unscathed, they're still dealing with the aftereffects just like everyone else. The return to life as they know it is swift thanks to Mr. Patil, but they still have time to get up to a whole new set of shenanigans...

[Oh, what a question. Terry frowns thoughtfully while he tries to remember when he picked up this caffeine addiction. Hopping up to sit on the counter (instead of on a chair like a normal person) while he's at it.]

Three or four years, maybe? I remember my mom telling me I shouldn't be drinking coffee at all when I was in middle school. [He laughs a little awkwardly.] You'd think I'd started smoking.

[A lot more clearly than he remembers most things about his mom, now he thinks about it. But that's probably no big deal.]

When I left home and started working though, that was the end of sugar and cream for me.

[consocius]

[Sora doesn't look at all bothered or alarmed that Terry's sitting on top of the counter. He's done it himself on occasion.

He blows on the coffee as he listens to Terry, then takes another sip.]

When you started working as a musician? Or did you do something else before that?

[traumatizing]

Yeah-- well. Music doesn't really pay the bills unless you get signed, so I did sound tech at clubs and stuff.

[He's frowning a little as he says it, because the memories are all fuzzy and don't feel entirely real. But he shrugs it off. It's probably just because he's still a bit sleepy.]

[consocius]

That's true. So I guess you've always been into music and stuff? Do you dance too?

[He can't recall having seen Terry dance before. Unless maybe he had at the New Year's party and Sora had just forgotten. He does remember talking to him, though.]

[traumatizing]

[He lets out a sudden burst of laughter and covers his mouth, holding up a hand in apology and as a signal for Sora to wait a minute for him to stop laughing.]

God no. [He shakes his head] Dancing is your domain.

[consocius]

[Sora's clearly surprised by the sudden laughter, but for some reason it makes him laugh, too.]

Well, you're good at what you do, anyway! I like your band's stuff.
