[He sure doesn't seem as stressed as usual. He's not constantly fussing with his guitar. If anything, this is the most relaxed he's ever been before a performance.

He's humming softly to the tune of the song and plucking away at the guitar in his hands.]

[Kido's... hesitant to be on stage again. It's been one hell of a month and she's honestly afraid to do anything that puts her in the spotlight.

Goddamn, she's the one fidgeting today. She keeps playing the bass line of the song over and over until it transforms into an older bassline. She's humming quietly and not even THE RIGHT FUCKING SONG, KIDO WHAT THE HELL.]

[He's not fussy at all today.

But he is listening to Kido playing through something he's sure he's never heard before.]

[The lights dim, and then the spotlight centers in on Genos on stage.

His voice is quite a bit gentler than usual, just the tiniest bit more vulnerable.]

[The feeling across any listener is a hopeless, ridiculous crush. The person they like the most, and have fallen in love with is the first person put into their minds.]

[It's cute. Kido would tell him up front if she wasn't sure she'd be patronizing him. She didn't even know about the brief stint of not trusting Saitama. So Kido plucks away at her bass--she likes backing him up.

She puts her whole heart into backing him up, the feelings of fondness, a feeling of sibling love, mingling as a quiet note with his feelings. There's just a lot of love in this performance, apparently.]

[It's more than just an illusion. He's sure of that, he wants to be at Saitama's side, he wants to be so much for Saitama.]

[He fell all over again the last time they met. And he never would have expected to fall for anyone as much as he has for Saitama.]

POST-PERFORMANCE

[Once again he's shoved out to the fans, but he seems a lot less grumpy about it.

He's perfectly happy to be out there, talking to anybody, taking pictures, signing merch, whatever.]

Anybody else need something signed?

[Kido just stands behind him arms crossed with a grin.]

I think I should call you Mr. Popular at this point.

[He rolls his eyes.]

[Like always, Saitama showed up late. He's waiting his turn, but he's also keeping an eye out for the other performer. Kido... one of Genos' (few) friends.

Things have been getting geared up, the tension rising, but for now things aren't set up to rescue people safely. There's still more waiting.]

[He perks up the moment he notices Saitama- and so he waves.]

[Kido lifts a hand with a smile when she sees him. She's thankful she has nothing to do with the endless line of autographs.]

He'll be glad you came out to watch.

[There's a girl Genos may or may not have seen before here, and she walks up to him at one point when the crowd is a little less demanding and she's sure Kido isn't around.]

[He's pretty sure he's seen her once or twice at least.]

[Sabo is lurking nearby, close to the stage but trying not to be too obvious about it. Though when he catches Genos' attention he smiles]

That was good. You really put your whole heart into it, don't you?

[He'll smile back.]

Of course I do. Can't half ass a performance.

[Sabo just grins at that. It's something to be admired, and Sabo does. There's something to be said about passion and dedication]

Seems you got a nice turnout, too. [he wouldn't call it a huge crowd, but it's a decent one. Moreover some of them are familiar]

I've seen that bald guy around before. [he cants his head] He a fan of yours? [because he honestly didn't seem to be the type]

[She leaves the signings to Genos. Playful roughhousing with him aside, she's going to spend most of the night relaxing at a table at the back of the club.

She's not drinking, Genos, just in case you happen to be watching.

The seat across from her is empty and when she closes her eyes, someone might actually think it's feasible to sit across from her without her glaring daggers at them. Maybe.]

[Surely there are at least a couple people who might be able to sit there without being glared at too much? Her girlfriend, for example? Who sort of... runs over and hops into the seat while Kido's eyes are closed.]
