“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND  The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. Re: Shingo and Garnet
And his outfit, well, that was somehow worse. He felt like a prince, in a red tunic decorated with black and gold diamonds and a black fluttery top. On his head was a three-cornered red velvet hat with lots of red and orange feathers, and even a couple peacock feathers. Shingo quietly smirked to himself when he saw it. One of the makeup artists painted a red diamond around one of his eyes. At his hip was a narrow rapier, though he didn't expect to have to need it. The pants were super tight, too. He managed to wedge the vial containing the compound he had been given for this mission into one of the cuffs of his shirt.
He knew Garnet was one of Connie's friends. He wasn't going to let her down. So he got an extra dose of the powder from Gold, and he was pretty sure he had a plan. Well, he had a plan, but he wasn't sure it was a particularly good one. He could hear Ankh's derisive tick of the tongue without him being in the room.
There were those nerves again, just like before the audition. Just so long as he could keep his lunch down, there would be no worries. Maybe some wine would be in order.
The first part is going just fine for a while. He's totally fine milling around the room, making conversation. All there was for an audience were these others and the camera. Maybe he would be okay.
Before the competition started properly, he wanted to get one thing out of the way first. He strode over to the wine, and poured them each two shallow glasses, just enough to make it easy to drink all in one go. He added the powder to Garnet's in a way that hopefully just made it look like he was fidgeting with his shirt cuffs. He also tugged on the other so the movement didn't look out of place.
He brought the glasses over to where she stood.]
My Queen. [He made a bow and offered her a glass.]

[She smiles, finally taking downing her drink.

Her lips and face pucker as she swallows. Its not the powder; its the face of someone who clearly never drinks.]

Fortunately, while he was drinking his own wine, the food was brought out. Frankly, it all looked awesome. He couldn't help but think of Hina again. He couldn't wait to get at her cooking again. Well, there was a silver lining on this particular thing.
An attendant came by to whisk their glasses away, and Shingo went over to the table. Without thinking, he reached out and plucked a chocolate truffle from a multi-tiered display. He munched on it while looking over the rest of the table.
And well, there it was, the single, sad, sorry, chocolate cake. Well, this was kind of obvious. Everything else looked awesome, though. So he grazed his way down the table. He just wasn't going to let good food go to waste. He did make a show of hunting through things for the ring, though. For the cameras.] Everything is really good! I can tell everyone worked really hard on the things they made! [See, he's being nice, Garnet.]

He took another drink of wine to chase the taste out of his mouth. As he had the other larger dishes and desserts, he took a fork and dug around for the ring. It had to be here somewhere. There's no way it couldn't be hers.

But for now, he wipes the cakeyness off of it with a napkin as he crosses back over to her. He wasn't sure this bit was necessary, but he was going to do it anyway.
He got on one knee before her and slipped it onto her finger.] Your gift is far too fine for a man such as myself.
