☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

What: Hit gameshow series “Fairy Trial” is celebrating one of its anniversaries, and it’s invited you onboard. Check out the OOC post for IC match ups!

Where: Sevetop Entertainment’s studio.

No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

[Everyday this joint past is becoming more and more tenuous... (and there's a slight bit of her that finds him utterly disgusting and horrible sometimes) she wants to not believe in this. He wouldn't treat her awfully. Implanted memories aside, they do have some things in common.

She still likes him too. Her smile is warm as she lets him go.]

[ (Only sometimes? That's not too bad.) But yeah, he probably wouldn't. She's given him something he's never had. ]

[ Still, he shudders visibly at those words. ]

Oh hell no. It's just the name of the challenge, isn't it? [ A pause and a scowl. ] Well, at least they didn't put me in a dress...

[(She can't sit there and judge him when she knows she's done just as bad things.) And idk, a bike? Excuse the typist, she knows the real answer to that and will go in a corner to weep from the feels.]

I'm sure you would look great in one.

[ (Fair enough.) Wow get out and go to church. And he's had plenty of bikes so that's not even funny. ]

Oh, I know I would. [ He grins at her. ] I don't prefer it, though. Besides, there's already someone looking brilliant in a dress here.

[ Yeah totally a compliment. ]

[That's strangely sweet of him and she's a little bashful.]

Oh stop it... how have you been? How's your bike?

Still in one piece. [ Isn't he hilarious. ] As you can see, so am I. Better than ever, really. [ Banging Xanxus on a regular basis might have something to do with that. ] You haven't been coming over as much lately. Everything alright?

I'm thankful for that...

[She gets a little withdrawn...] I've been avoiding HQ lately, I stay there just to record and sleep these days.

[She's also recently started to rent a loft with some distance from Pride. Still, she has to come back to HQ at the end of day most of the time. Even if An's disappeared, they still keep an eye on her.]

Ah. [ Did she get into a fight with dolphin daddy or something? ] You know you can tell me if something's bothering you. Or someone. Do I need to knock some teeth out?

No- no you don't.

...I just don't feel comfortable at HQ anymore. [Note that a little thing called hindsight miiight make that statement a bit harsher. She shouldn't have attempted to leave.]

[ He shrugs a bit, if she doesn't want to talk about it he's not going to push. ]

Decided on your strategy yet? [ He'll add "For the trials." if she looks confused. ]

I'm not sure yet. It wouldn't be too exciting if I just let my rescuer just climb to the top.

See, that's what I'm thinking, too. Besides, if they gotta reach us to win, that means we do if we don't let them, right? [ He scoffs a bit. ] But I have a feeling my teammate won't feel that way. Can you fucking believe this? Everyone's in pairs and I'm stuck with an extra.

Uh. Remember Dino? We ate lunch in the park once. It made a lot of headlines. [ Condescending snort. ]
