☆BETTER TO PRETEND

The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin!

No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination.

Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone.

[Luci smirks and helps herself to combing through Usagi's bangs to make sure she hasn't left a mark. Just because it happens all the time doesn't mean that it's not going to injure her.]

Plenty of things around to trip and fall over, darling, you'd best watch your step around here before someone has to play your hero. Not that I'd mind...

[Probably.

But she smiles, letting Luci touch her without any issue, still smiling up at her. While she's red, she's uninjured, but she's always been physically affectionate.]

Ah, tell me about it. It could be the slightest crack in the sidewalk and with my luck I'll find it. But I'll be a good hero! If I need to save someone I'm going to... klutzy and all. Though I bet people would love to be rescued by you, Miss Luci!

[Surprisingly, somehow Luci believes that even as klutzy as this girl is, she's probably going to do everything she can to rescue her very unlucky musician-royal. Luci grins and finishes fixing Usagi's hair.]

Of course they would. I'm physically fit, clever, and incredibly handsome.

You are! And don't forget really kind! I'll cheer you on! [She bounced, which didn't quite fit the outfit they gave her as it was more refined and she was bubbly ball of sunshine. Unfortunately, Usagi is too used to being the one saving others, honestly.]

Kind? [Luci actually looks stunned by that, and then she bursts out laughing.] Oh, you really don't believe everything you read, do you? Or do you just ignore the tabloids?

I make my own opinions on people once I meet them, and the person tabloids talk about doesn't exist.

[Wow. Luci's sure that a lot of her fellow musicians would find that charming and endearing, but Luci's case is just a little different.]

I'll tell you now, you can trust about eighty percent of what they print about me. I probably would start a cult if I had the chance, honestly...

[She laughed and waved a hand in front of her.]

Ah, well, then I guess you can tell me all about it, though ah- I won't be joining it, sorry. Uh, what is true then?

[Serena's declining of an invitation to Luci's personal cult is apparently hilarious, because she laughs like Serena just told a joke.]

Come on, we'll have cookies...?

[She'll get to the truth in a bit if she can't distract with food.]

Cookies?! [She loves food! Well, of course she does, Luci took her on a date, she'd know that better than anyone.] Can have the cookies even if I don't join? [She laughed.]

[Luci laughs too, tapping Serena's nose with a finger.] Ah-ah, if I gave everybody cookies without joining my cult, I'd be out a lot of cookies and have nobody to do my terrifying human sacrifices with.

Well, fine. I guess I'm going to have to miss out on Luci-cookies. [She sighed, looking truly disappointed for about half a second.]

Do you know who your hero is yet?

That could be a good thing, you don't know.

[Luci grins and raises her eyebrows, controversial and suggestive as usual. Still, she'd feed the adorable Serena cookies all day if she'd be this cute while she did it.]

Nah, not yet. They're keeping it quite hush-hush, I would think someone would have told me by now. What about you?

It means no cookies, it can only be bad. [She countered.]

Only which Trial, but nothing else besides the name. Maybe I'll be your hero! Then you have to give me cookies!

You don't know what kind of cookies I bake, you might take that back quickly. [Luci counters with a wink. The Devil Bakes with THC Sometimes...]

Hey who said anything about me giving my hero cookies, huh? I thought I signed on to give my hero the thrill of rescuing a difficult and wicked-dramatic rockstar.

Well, it can't be any worse than mine, I'm not allowed in the kitchen! [She laughed.]

Well, dramatic, certainly, but difficult? Not even. [She smiled, completely unaware of Luci's actual persona and temperament.]

But a hero should at least get cookies, oh! Or donuts, I love those.
