☆TRACK IIX: BETTER TO PRETEND PT. 2

What: Hit gameshow series “Fairy Trial” is celebrating one of its anniversaries, and it’s invited you onboard. Check out the OOC post for IC match ups!
When: March 21st.
Where: Sevetop Entertainment’s studio.

“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.”

[So, Roxas kind of wants ice cream now. And he knows that won't happen if he loses. Not winning the competition was already inspiration enough, but now he's got a heavy load of reasons more to flip this jerk on his back and kick him off the edge.

With what seems like renewed vigor, Roxas is weaving out of the way of those axe swings and smacking the actor to catch him off balance, push him back, get him as close to the edge as possible.

And it works.. until they get to the point where the game would be decided. The costumed troll ups his ante at this point and puts up a helluva fight now, really making Roxas work for that win. Midst crossing weapons, close enough to the throne to get a good glimpse at the Royal he's working to save and being in hearing distance, Roxas shouts:] Hey, let's get that ice cream after this guy goes down.

[That pissed off his contender.]

That sounds wonderful.

[Ankh was still not being patient. Nope, not at all. He shifted in his seat, chewed on the tips of his fingers, and then huffed a little. It shouldn't be that hard, but of course it was. The actor in his suit was trying his best to make this in his favor, going at it like the trained stuntman like he was.

One more fake roar of defiance and a couple more wild swings and Ankh had enough. He got up from his throne, stalked over to the combatants locked in battle and kicked the actor off the edge of the platform.]

How annoying.

[Did that just happen?

Holy shit.. it did. This guy jumped down and booted his opponent off the stage like it was nothing. So they won?

..yay, they won! They're probably going to be ushered out of there as quick as possible so they can get out of these costumes and into that promised dinner session after. But all Roxas wants is the dessert.]

That was super impressive. [So, they go now?]

[Ankh was standing on the edge to look down and see what the actor was doing. And. Well, the actor was rolling around on the nicely placed padding trying to get his mask off while pointing up at Ankh and probably cursing him out in several languages to boot. Like Ankh cared. In fact, Ankh was pulling a rather passable evil overlord smirk as he waves goodbye at the actor and turns around to look at Roxas.

Who wasn't actually that much taller than him. Ankh's evil smirk just stayed in place, one finely shaped eyebrow rising slightly in amusement and giving him an even more sinister air. Then he just laughs a little.]

Now that this farce is over with, shall we find some ice cream?

[Roxas didn't look himself, but he could hear some yelling from below. Usually he'd feel bad, but that guy was kind of being a jerk and keeping them from the next step which is delicious dessert food.]

Heck yea. We should change. [But that would take time out of getting the ice cream.] Or not, the studio won't mind, will they? We can always bring the outfits back.

[Well it wasn't like Ankh was in this to win any popularity contests. His fans knew that he was a jerk (some of them even going as far as commenting that he just need 'tru lurv' to find his heart) and he wasn't really invested in this considering that he was told to do it by management.]

We can always ask the staff to fetch us ice cream. But that might mean they would get us boring vanilla. [And while vanilla was fine, he wanted something sinfully delicious.]

Let's just go get some and then come back.

[Noo, not just boring vanilla! Roxas wants things in his ice cream. They're probably going to be quick enough anyway, two young men in decent health shouldn't be anything but.] Alright, let's move.

You know where we're going?

There should be a shop close by.

[Not that he would care if there was one there or not. The idea of just getting out of the building sounded wonderful to him, and if they did get lost, oh well. They could only get yelled at a lot if their managers actually bothered with them.

Ankh found the way off the stage and jerked open the door, frowning that his phone was not in the immediate vicinity of the exit. Oh well, ice cream called.]

There usually is one within reach of a studio.

[Not sure about Ankh, but Roxas's manager would probably love a reason to come after him, judging by how all other interactions with her have gone so far. The thought would make him shudder, but the desire for ice cream is stronger.

It doesn't take long for them to make their way out, they were quick enough after all. Two costumed contestant should draw more attention than they did, especially on the street, but nope. Not here. Nothing out of the ordinary.]

Ooh, there's a stand down the street there, [pointing,] and not even that much of a line.

[They probably were not the only people in costume going outside for a little something different to eat. After all, the cafeteria food might be good, but people still craved street foods in all the varieties that could be found in a city like this. Ankh quickened his pace because while he might say something about how his manager wouldn't mind, he probably was wrong.]

Three cheers for ice cream stands and people not waiting in line.

[If there were enough people in line he might feel the need to go to the next closest one that would be empty instead, in hopes of getting what he wants quicker so he can avoid what would be 'the wrath.'

It's not moving fast enough for his liking, and it's clear Roxas is anxious to get what he wants and get going, so when it does come up to his turn he orders quickly. And doesn't do shame to his ice cream connoisseur status.]

Sprinkles and chocolate syrup and caramel and whipped cream and peanut aaand more sprinkles, please. Don't be shy with the portions!

[He bounced on his heels as he waited and then leaned in close to give the server a smile. This was going to cut it close but ten minutes away should get them into too much trouble, right?]
