“Every prince is a fantasy, The witch is inside of me. Her poison will wash away the memory.” ☆BETTER TO PRETEND ![]() The day has finally come for Fairy Trial filming to begin! No matter if they’ve arrived by limo or taken the bus, everyone involved gets star treatment as the makeup and costume departments go wild with the models they’ve been given. At least Sevetop has good accomodations. While it’s a chaotic and crowded scene, everyone still manages to fit in the two buildings Sevetop has dedicated for Fairy Trial’s purposes in this area. It’s one of the only points today that anyone will have a chance to everyone else. After all, once everyone involved in a particular challenge is done with, they’re hurried out the door and to their particular destination. Every challenge has a different area it takes place in, after all. For some pair ups, they’ll find themselves merely being escorted to another set on Sevetop’s huge property. Others will find themselves being escorted to some very classy transportation and taken outside of Vista City to special obstacle courses that simply wouldn’t fit anywhere else. On the bright side, once the actual filming is done no matter the location, the crew involved seems to relax considerably. Whether they’ve done great or not, Heroes and Royals are treated to dinner and a change out of their costumes. Good job, everyone. “We kill the lights and put on a show. It's all a lie, but you'd never know. The star will shine, And then it will fall, And you will forget it all.” |

"Of course they have the best ice cream. I wouldn't settle for less."
Ankh said that with a little tch even as his hand decided that the ice cream bowl was boring and went for a popsicle. He blinked at this development, looked at his ice cream, and sighed before putting the bowl down. Might as well give in to the stupid thing. It wasn't like he wouldn't have grabbed one once the ice cream was eaten, but his hand had a mind of its own these days.

But this was also a prime opportunity. He found a clean spoon, and tucked the little vial he'd been given between his fingers of the hand he was holding the spoon in. In the process of stealing a gummy bear from its ice cream bed, he left the powder behind. Even in this circumstance, he was pretty sure he stood a good chance at getting punched for this, but it was a risk he was willing to take. In any event, he didn't expect Ankh to leave the ice cream behind even if he did get mad enough to leave.

And then the weird guy just swiped a gummy bear. Ankh snarled, grabbed at Shingo's shirt and leaned in close.
"What the fuck?"
no subject
In the process of the jostling, his hat toppled off his head. All he had to obscure the resemblance now was that diamond painted around his eye. "Ah! Sorry! I was curious and there was a ton so I didn't think you'd mind..." he held his hands up to emphasize his innocence. "But you're right, it's good and chewy."
no subject
After all, one just could not forget one's face.
Ankh gave Shingo a shove and, almost snarling with a mixture of hate and confusion and fear, jabbed his popsicle into Shingo's mouth.
"Shut. Up. Let me fucking think."
And he went back to ice cream bowl before Shingo could steal more of it.

So he just but off a bit of the end and let it melt in his mouth while Ankh absorbed what he had just seen. He also wanted to make sure he finished the ice cream.

It was possible to create features, to remake the face and any marks through surgery and makeup and any number of tricks. But he doubt that this guy did that. He didn't seem like a fan, he didn't look like the kind of crazed person that would destroy themselves to look like a celebrity. If it wasn't for his hair, they would have been twins or even clones, and there was nothing more upsetting than that. It was making his head hurt.
Ankh finished his ice cream and dropped it nearly on the head of a passing by server and crossed his arms over his chest to glare.
"So Shingo, can you explain why you look the way you do?"
no subject
He finished the popsicle, the stick of which he supposed of in a more polite manner than Ankh had his bowl. And he relaxed a bit when Ankh finished the ice cream. That was a success, he decided. He finally took a seat at the table since it was clear this was going to be a hell of a conversation. "The same way most people do." He ran a hand over the lower corner of the diamond. "I'm going to need to scrub this off in the shower when I get home." He was going to take the "play dumb" strategy until Ankh got more specific.
no subject
What was wrong with him?
He ate his ice cream too fast, that's all. That was the only thing wrong with him. It didn't help that he had been under hot studio lights for most of the day. That was the only thing wrong with him.
Wrong.
Ankh shook his head. "You look like me, why?"
no subject
His demeanor changed to something a little more serious from the friendly one he'd had before. "I would like to tell you, but for now, I can tell you that we are identical aside from that," he gestured toward Ankh's right hand.
When Ankh held his own head, he leaned forward and put a hand on his shoulder. This was originally nothing like what Gold and Silver wanted to happen, but here they were. "I can tell you more, but not here, not now. I'll get a message to you, and we can talk somewhere else. I just need you to trust me a little."
no subject
I know, I understand, they do care for you as well...
Ankh knew he had to be careful. He seen what they did to those people that had tried to break against what they were told to do and he did not want to get caught. He had so many pieces in place, so many weird dreams and half-formed thoughts that he wanted at least one or two pieces to fall into place and at least know why.
"Trust? A crazy fan? Tch."
He hoped that Shingo understood. It wouldn't be good if he got caught as well.

He brushed at debris that had attached to his hat and tugged out one of the peacock feathers. He let it fall on the table in front of Ankh. He finally returned the gigantic thing to his head. "Sorry for bothering you. Good luck! Ash I guess it's 'beak a leg' in show business isn't it?"
no subject
Too many thoughts and feelings. Ankh hissed and bit his tongue to keep from blurting out something stupid that would get noticed. He raised his chin at Shingo's words and grabbed the nearest thing he could reach - a rather sad looking desert, and took a bite out of it.
No. He couldn't accept something that easily. It would only lead to danger.
Thanks for the notif, DW :T
For now, he could only wait. Wait and decide how best to draw him out later so they could discuss a little more openly.
