Steven hasn't been in the worst mood lately, which is impressive considering. He's had plenty to worry about. He's pretty sure that he's in trouble, for one, even if the full gravity of it hasn't made itself apparent. But that seems like something that is just happening constantly now, though, so there is only so much he can dwell on it.

He's quick to answer Pinkie though, like he's expecting her calling him to be for an emergency. It's hard not to be tense, that way. The boy sprints out into the common area, looking nervous, but is then relieved to see who it is.

After what Tooru went through with the rest of them, it's hard not to trust him.

"Hi Tooru," he says, looking a little wary, but still warm in his reception.

"Hey Tiger," Oikawa said, smiling warmly at the boy. He always had a soft spot for kids. And Tiger was the youngest here and had gone through that awful experience with him, Mai, and the others. Tiger, in particular, was the one Tooru wanted to get out of Pride most.

"I wanted to talk to you guys about the world tour," he began and looked around. He had spoken freely enough in Terry's suite. Should he risk it here?

Not yet he decides. "Here's some plans I was thinking of, and I was hoping for everyone's input."

He hands his phone to Tiger showing him the same message that he showed Pinkie Pie.

I'm leaving and taking as many people with me as I can. Want in?

[sailorlaughter]

"Yeah, I wanted to know what you thought!"

Pinkie tucks her fists beneath her arms in a nervous gesture. Trucy will have to be asked at some point, of course, depending on what Tiger says. But she's definitely not going anywhere without him, so she might as well figure out what he thinks first.

Steven looks at the phone and immediately turns pale. He looks at Pinkie, stunned, and then over to Tooru. He reflexively shifts back from them, tucking his arms around his body defensively. The only thing that prevents a more extreme reaction is him reminding himself that he can't risk giving any of them away.

"Th-That's okay," he says, his voice tense and wavering. "It's okay, you guys can do that but... I'll just. Um. Stay in the hotel." His face flushes.

Tooru looked over at Pinkie, and then back at Tiger. "If you're sure," he said after a moment.

He knelt down, getting on Tiger's level, looking into his eyes, hoping to convey how much he wanted to see Tiger safe. He may not know the boy that well, but he always had a soft spot for kids.

"I'm not going to force you," he said. "But please think it over? I want to see you and everyone else safe."

[sailorlaughter]

Pinkie winces a little at Steven's look. She didn't think he'd take it that badly. He did that big escape from Virgo! Not that he'd ever wanted to be there in the first place...but does he really want to be here?

"I'll stay too, then," she says immediately. Really, it'd be nice to be out of here. It's been nothing but stress lately. But she won't go without her bandmates.

With a defeated sigh Tooru leaned back and then stood. He can understand Pinkie wanting to stay with Tiger.

"Well, if you change your minds you know where to find me."
