Tooru made his way to the garage the mad scientist took him to that one time he followed him around town. He hoped he would run into the doctor. He had a plan forming, well, he and Squalo had a plan forming. Mostly Squalo. Tooru didn't trust himself at the moment to plan. His plan would involve very flashy things.

So sue him, he's a flashy guy.

He needed to get an idea of who and what these rescuers were. He's only met two. Sugawara and the mad scientist who's name he forgot to get. For the best. That way Santiago couldn't torture it out of him.

"Hello?" he said, poking his head into the garage. "Anyone here? I need help."

"Thanks for coming out for breakfast with me, guys." He beamed at his band as they ate various sweets. "It's been too long since we've done something like this, hasn't it?"

He looked from Aramat to Sariel, to Mai, and finally to Artolo. These people had become important to him. As important to him as his team back home had become. He wanted to protect them.

"As you probably know, I have ulterior motives to this. I wanted to get us out the suite so I can speak more clearly." He looked over at the guards watching them. "I think we should move out of that suite. Permanently."

Tooru didn't know Tiger that well. He seemed like a good kid, though. He hesitated before knocking on the System Crash suite door.

He didn't know the band as whole that well. Trucy and Tiger were the only people in it that he had talked to at length. Kido was part of this band, and then she was part of Manticore. He was vaguly aware of Pinkie Pie.

Still, just because he wasn't close to anyone in the band didn't mean they didn't deserve to get out of here. He went over his pitch in his head again, hoping they were both home.

This was Squalo's band. He wondered if he should leave this to the other cellist, but in the end, he decided to do it himself.

He and Roy had fought together against Santiago when rescuing Octave. He owed it to Roy to talk to him personally.

He raised his hand and knocked.

Tooru knocked on the door to Junkyard Carnival's suite.

Yuffie was for sure on his list to try to convince to escape with him.

Xanxus, well, Tooru wanted to rescue everyone, but Xanxus was someone he knew was a liability.

He liked Xanxus. He thought the other man was hilarious, but he did drugs. Like a lot. Tooru wasn't against weed, but he'd never touch the heavy shit.

And that's not counting Xanxus' famous temper.

Still, Squalo made it clear Xanxus was his priority, and without him Squalo wouldn't help.

He knocked again and waited.

Cosmic Indulgence had fallen on hard times. Garnet was hitting big and everyone but Terry disappearing. He wondered if the other man felt left behind.

He took a breath and knocked on the suite's door.

It was Cosmic's Indulgence's Mei that got him started on this path. Well, he and Mai talking back in March about remembering friends that didn't fit in their memories started it, but his conversation with Mei and his disappearance afterward was what made Tooru start thinking about escape

He was convinced that conversation is why Mei was taken. He owed Mei to save his band mate. That and Terry had been part of the mission to rescue Octave.

"Terry-kun? Are you in?" he called out and knocked again.

Okay, now Tooru had talked to at least someone from every band except Flashstep today.

He wasn't sure if it was worse the effort to go to them. Jamie was a dumbass brat, too stupid to put aside his feelings to focus on what was important. He could hate Tooru all he wanted; he just needed to pull his head out his ass so they could work together.

Whatever, not his problem.

He turned a corner and saw Demyx.

One door closes another door opens.

"Ya-hoo!" he called out to the other man. "You're Demyx, right? You got a minute to chat about the world tour?"

He knew less about Demyx then he did about just about anyone else. He did know the boy band member had a lazy streak a mile wide, though. Maybe that would help.

Squalo~ Let's go get dinner!! I'm hungry and want something Japanese. There's a Ramen place I know that's nice~

Tooru was texting Squalo when he bumped into someone.

"Oops~ My bad~" He looked and beamed. "Oh, Dr. G~" he singsonged. "What's up?"
