"Just wanted to chat about the upcoming tour," Tooru said. He waited a moment to plucked the phone from Yuffie's hand and handed it to Xanxus.

"I have some ideas about safety that I think would be very helpful."

He quickly reads over the words on the phone and his expression goes unreadable for a moment before he hands it back. So, he isn't the only one then, and Yuffie is involved. If Yuffie trusts him...

"I would like to hear those ideas. I might not be all that safety minded, but I'll at least hear you out."

"I have outside contacts that are willing to help," he said. "Squalo's helping me put this together as well."

He leans back, looking at Xanxus. "I hear you two are married with children."

If he had been drinking something, he might have spit it out in his face. "We aren't married. I'm sure of it. I would remember if I put a fucking ring on it." Funny story, he was actually going to be trying to put a ring on it in the near future if he ever got home. "But yeah, we have kids. I'm doing this for them. Because I don't want that bitch anywhere near my daughter or my son." His son, with his hair always in his face and his adorable little laugh.
