Yeeeeeah! That's why my dress is so poofy! I always put like fifty pockets into them so I can carry a bunch of stuff and pull it out of nowhere like magic!

Plus it'll make it harder for me to get soaked! [You know, from the wet coins she's shoving into her pockets.]

Well yeah! It sucks wearing a dress that doesn't have pockets! Like, what, I have to carry around a purse all the time? They're cute and all, but that's just something I've gotta carry around and keep track of, you know?

And the pockets in girl pants are teeny.

[Shoving some more coins in his own pockets, Psii sloshes through the water to smack her on the back encouragingly.]

Go get the guy skinny pants. Seriously, they'll be teeny tiny enough for you and will show off your butt, but the pockets are somehow deep, I can fit my phone in them and it won't drop out if I get tossed out of an airplane!

For real? I can hardly EVER fit my phone in pockets that aren't custom or something!

I'll have to pay someone to go do that. Geeeeeeeez, d'you know the kinda stuff they'd write about me if they saw me buying guy clothes? It's stupid, they're just clothes, but I guess the tabloids have to keep themselves busy too...

[He can't stop laughing. It's just too surreal. Making a deal to get a girl some skinny jeans in exchange for cookies while they're stealing spare change from a water fountain.]

I dunno. [As he clambers out of the fountain and starts squeezing out the water from his pants, he cocks his head curiously.] You do this? What kind of wishes did you make?

I dunno, I don't really carry change around much. [She pokes through some of the coins in her open palm.] I guess if I was GONNA...

...I might wish for Sayaka to call again.

She used to be in our band, but she got fired. Nobody's heard from her since...

[Pinkie tries not to think on it too much. But it's still weird, right? Sure, she'd have to give back the phone and the email and everything else from Pride, but it's not like any of their contacts have changed. Why won't she just say hi?]

[Mentally, his brain freezes. He's shit at comforting people, which is why he generally avoids it as much as possible. Right now, however, there's no real escape, and it takes his mind a minute to come up with something suitable.]

Maybe shit's just real busy for her? I mean, job market and junk, right?

[sailorlaughter]

Yeeeeeeeeeah...I guess so.

[Pinkie's been through all these options already, but she seems to appreciate the attempt.]

Maybe she went back to school or something. She's still pretty young.

Oh yeah, school. [That completely left his mind. School just seems like such a non-thing in his brain for some reason.] Maybe she'll get, like, a degree in something and come back into the business that way.

I guess. How long does that take, like two years?

[She knows college is a thing that exists, but......]

I. Uh. I have no clue.

[He's not sure why college was never really something he considered.]

There's, like, different levels to the degree you can get, right?

[She's also a little unclear on the workings of College.] Like, you can go for more years to get a better one? And then eventually you're a doctor! Or a professor!

Yeah, like that! [Probably. How do you even college? It's a mystery.] What do you think they even do in college? Like, does it seriously take that long to learn stuff?

[sailorlaughter]

It doesn't SEEM like it should? Like, I can't think of ANYTHING I took THAT long to learn!

Maybe, like... [Ugh, what's a hard thing?] Like, super fancy cooking. Swans out of ice and shit. That takes a long time, right?
